Great monitor at a great price
I bought this monitor because it came highly recommended on YT -especially by Optimum Tech and Consumer Tech Reviews. I've had it for close to a month now and it really delivers on quality especially at such a low price. Colors are nice and accurate, refresh rate goes up to 165Hz with the included display cable, the brightness is decent, and the stand is top tier in my opinion. The viewing experience is great and so far, I'm happy with the purchase. The monitor has some in-built speakers which aren't the best but get the job done. You get your money's worth there. No issues so far, great monitor at a great price.

Pixio PX248 PRO
The Pixio PX248 Pro is a compelling option for gamers and professionals alike, offering a blend of performance, affordability, and sleek design. Here’s my take after a few weeks of using this monitor.**Design and Build Quality:**The PX248 Pro sports a minimalist design that fits well into any setup. The slim bezels provide a modern look, and the matte finish helps reduce glare. The stand is sturdy and offers decent ergonomics with tilt adjustments, although height adjustment is notably absent. The build quality feels solid for the price, and the monitor has a clean, professional appearance.**Display Performance:**This 24-inch monitor boasts a Full HD (1920x1080) resolution with an IPS panel, ensuring vibrant colors and wide viewing angles. The color accuracy out of the box is impressive, making it suitable for content creation and casual photo editing. With a refresh rate of 165Hz and a 1ms response time (MPRT), the PX248 Pro excels in fast-paced gaming scenarios. Motion is smooth, and input lag is minimal, which is crucial for competitive gaming.**Features:**One of the standout features of the PX248 Pro is its support for AMD FreeSync Premium, which helps eliminate screen tearing and stuttering when paired with a compatible graphics card. The monitor also supports HDR, although it's more of a bonus than a game-changer due to the limited peak brightness. Multiple connectivity options, including HDMI and DisplayPort, make it versatile for different setups.**User Experience:**Setting up the Pixio PX248 Pro is straightforward. The on-screen display (OSD) is intuitive, allowing easy adjustments for various settings. The included blue light filter and flicker-free technology contribute to a more comfortable viewing experience during extended sessions. However, the built-in speakers are underwhelming, lacking depth and volume, so dedicated speakers or headphones are recommended.**Value for Money:**Considering its price point, the PX248 Pro offers excellent value. It combines high refresh rates, good color reproduction, and essential gaming features without breaking the bank. While it lacks some premium features found in higher-end models, it strikes a great balance for those looking for a capable and affordable gaming monitor.**Conclusion:**The Pixio PX248 Pro is a fantastic choice for anyone in need of a high-performance, budget-friendly monitor. Its blend of fast refresh rates, vibrant colors, and gaming-centric features makes it a versatile option for gamers and casual users alike. If you're looking for an upgrade that won't drain your wallet, the PX248 Pro should be at the top of your list.Overall, the Pixio PX248 Pro impresses with its performance and value, making it a strong contender in the competitive monitor market.

Some back bleed but pretty awesome
I use this mostly for programming in a well lit room. The small size makes 1080 text look as crisp as any 4K monitor. Compared to my MacBook Pro, I can see some backlight bleeding, but, it's not unbearable. As to color reproduction - I'd say it rivals my Samsung 27" 4K MonitorMy biggest complaint is the button to get to the menu. The button has 4 positions: up, neutral, down, in. Pressing up and down is super easy. Pressing in, it seems hit or miss. If there's even the slightest up or down movement, the "IN" movement seems to get over-ridden and the menu item up or down gets highlighted (but not selected)After some practice, it's easier to navigate. The second complaint is the power cord is REALLY short - maybe 4 or 5 feet. and finding a USB-A to USB-C cable is pretty hard. Luckily, my power strip is right below my desk, so, I don't have any issues, but, just something to consider.THE GOODThey provide a Micro-HDMI cable that is truly awesome. I mean, it's really good quality, and not stiff. Again, the color is REALLY good for a monitor this cheap. It's as good as a $300 Samsung, but I have a $500 LG that looks way better. But again, it's about 4x's the cost. The case turns into a stand and it's really good. It's the perfect angle for working, it doesn't take up a lot of desk space, and the case it soft. I trust this case to protect my screen.OVERALLI'm happy with my purchase and my buy another one. The bad, are not bad enough to NOT buy if you need a small monitor for programming and need more desk space. It also works perfect if you want to hook an AppleTV up to it to watch something while traveling. The included cables are good quality, the case protects the monitor amply, and the monitor is small enough to fit into a laptop backpack with a 13" MacBook pro, and both chargers and not be too big or bulky

Incredible price for a great monitor
165 hz is incredibly smoother than 60 - 165 is noticeably smoother than 144, toopicture quality is good (it is 1080p)colors are fantasticviewing angles are perfecthardly any ghostingone con is the monitor stand gets in the way of the mouse, but it's ok cause you can swivel the stand sort of awaythe stand has good adjustmentsi was worried 24" was gonna be too small to enjoy gaming with coming from a 27 inch, but you really do just get used to ityeah, it's awesome

My monitor was DoA, BUT-
ok, upfront - can't give 5 stars as my monitor was actually dead on arrival (displayport connection couldn't output over 82hz without either blackscreening or having rgb lines. HDMI could, but I dont have extra pc hdmi ports to available so it was no use to me with one 1/3 outputs working)however, the monitor itself looked fantastic for the price and was punching above it's weight. The stand was super sturdy, adjustable, just felt like pure quality. Mounting was painless and solid, which you'd think would be a given in the year 2023 but I've seen some nightmare hellscape designed monitors.Fast IPS so didn't face horrible VA panel smear issues - if you play games that are fast, I would REALLY recommend going for IPS like this. Colour range as advertised, wide, pretty accurate (red was a little over 100% on mine but not to any crazy degree, better than average imo). Freesync premium worked. when testing 165hz thru the working hdmi, extremely smooth, tested next to another 165hz monitor from a more well known brand that cost double and was indistinguishableupon finding out mine was DoA through displayport and reporting it, customer service was really fast and very helpful. refund was completely painless.overall - huge shame mine arrived broken, looked great. it should say a lot that despite a DoA monitor I would still really recommend it to people looking for a "budget" 144+hz IPS. think I just got unlucky
