laptop itself was slightly smaller than I expected, at least compared to the old ASUS i had. Good for portability.heat vents' design seems efficient.my only worry is the processor is a 13th gen H instead of 14th HX's, time will tell if it'll last. I don't mind too much since it means better power efficiency.good keyboard layout design - unlike other keyboards that for some reason cut out numpad columns.

I've been using this laptop over a month now and it is exactly as described. It is a powerhouse when it comes to gaming. I'm currently playing Cyberpunk on ultra graphic settings and it is running fine. I love that the pre-loaded Asus software is there so I can customize the keyboard rgb lighting, as well as a few other minor things. There is a lot more you can customize but I did not need all of that.As a gaming laptop it can get loud when the fans kick in on both sides, but with good gaming headset you don't notice it. Also I prefer that the fans are working well and that it is not overheating.On first setup there are a lot of windows updates, and nvidia graphic driver updates, be patient with all that. There is even a BIOS update that kicks in a bit later and you only see it on a restart.This laptop is excellent so far, and is great value for the price.I'd have to say the weakest part of it is the speakers. The speakers are not great, and I'm already hearing a bit of feedback if it is turned up, so much so that I'm afraid it will get worse so I've been keeping it around 60 instead of 100. Otherwise I'm using my gaming headset.Overall its great.

BUYER BEWARE! This “good deal” just cost me a semester’s tuition.It worked for less than 30 days, then froze during a midterm exam and restarted to bios with no boot option. Asus tech support just said “sorry. Take it to where you bought it for warranty.”After checking the Asus website where I had registered the laptop, and the specs were for a 1tb SDD and 8gb of RAM as opposed to the 2tb SDD and 64gb of RAM that it came with, which leads me to believe that the seller changed components that caused the failure. Other reviewers have had similar experiences which lead me to believe that this is a common problem with the seller.*Update* I returned the laptop since it was purchased within the warranty period, and received a refund, minus $136.90 for a “restocking fee”, which means someone else will likely purchase this lemon and have further issues.

I bought this one to replace an old gtx 1060 with 32 gb of ram. As this is an rtx 4070 with 64 gb of ram, it was quite the massive upgrade. It's fast, can handle way more games running simultaneously, and comes with a beefy 240w charger. The problem I ran into, however, was that charger; it suddenly died after a month of use. I was playing a game and the laptop suddenly stopped charging. I did some troubleshooting, including charging using a usb-c and found that the laptop charged fine. The issue was the charger itself. I don't know why it just stopped working, but now it's essentially a brick with cords attached.In summary: laptop is great, but the charger it came with wasn't so great.
