This is a great hanging chair at a brilliant price. If you want it for sitting in (as most normal people would) - then you cannot go wrong. Ours is suspended indoors, from a bracket designed to hang a punchbag from screwed through the ceiling into a joist. This sounds simpler than it was - working out where to drill the holes for the bracket was a combination of measuring inside the room from the walls to the desired location and then in the loft while balancing gracefully on the rafters, combined with using the tiniest drill in the tool box to drill pilot holes until we hit the joist. This solution worked out a lot cheaper than the designated hanging chair brackets and works a treat. If you choose to hang the chair outside from a chain in a tree, your life will be simpler. The chair is big, however would be very snug for two people as they would roll together – mind you, this might be exactly the effect you are looking for!Depending on how athletic you are, you please bear in mind a note of caution….We bought this to replace a Amazonas Brasil hanging chair which had finally broken having been used daily for the last 3 1/2 years by my daughter for acrobatic jumping, twirling and somersaulting (please note this is not a specified suitable activity in the product description) as well as for sitting in. This new chair has proved to be just as robust at half the price and has physically withstood the twirling…. although the hanging ropes do unexpectedly come out of the grooves on the ends of the spreading pole from time to time - unceremoniously dumping my daughter onto the floor….. dented pride but the chair is fine.For normal sitting use this would be perfect – for those of you who have children who like to develop circus skills when your back is turned, either also buy a mat or the more expensive chair!

My daughter has always wanted a hammock, but we didn’t want one on a stand and a lack of large trees prevented us from getting one. We built a large pergola and this hammock chair is just perfect! Large enough for her to lie in and for adults to curl up in. It’s fantastic quality and we’re so pleased with it.

Brilliant, love it and use it all the time! Bought two, one for me and one for my partner...not really sure about having two people in one but it's absolutely perfect for curling up by yourself like in the picture! It lost one star only because the top rope attaching the wooden bar to the hook does slide off occasionally which means you do fall out but it's easily slipped back into the groove on the end so no real problem.

We love this seat. We have wanted one for ages so finally ordered it- perfect! Quick delivery, good price & great quality. We have put a single foam seat pad in it to give it a little more structure which works perfectly for us. I love it that you can lay out with your legs supported, or you can sit in it with your legs hanging- works both ways. Very happy.

The most amazing present ever!!!!!!!!!! I received this present for my 13th birthday and it is the best!!!!!! IM IN LOVE!!!! Anyway, it is really comfy and VERY large! Keep in mind that it doesn't came with anything to lower it some you might want to invest in a couple of carabiner clips!!! Super easy to put up and it never squeaks!!! Overall the best gift I have ever received!!!!! Xxx
