I love my new cutting board because it is so easy to clean without having to use bleach each time (especially when cutting meat) and it dries quicker too. I kept the bubble wrap envelope that it came in for storage because I dont hang it up and where it is thin it can be a bit sharp if you catch your hand on it unawares. Not that it is sharp enough to cut you though! A really good purchase and worth 5 stars as it will last years!

The material cannot be confirmed.The edges on my supplied unit have been finished well, no sharp edges found,There's a cutout on the elongated side? For fingers to carry this unit,It serves its purpose,It doesn't attract a magnet,I did notice it can be scratched easily.

These boards are very thin and they do mark when cutting but not scratches.A little disappointed with them, I was going buy 3 at once but glad I didn't now.
