Factual history and issues of modern life presented in entertaining plays.
Extremely researched and superbly presented history of Maryland colony is interesting, well organized, and powerful. The 14 one act plays are like sugar coated medicinal pill; reads easy but deals with complex issues of existentialism (Satre) to repressed sexuality (Freud) and beyond. The author has wisely shed some lights on these subjects but left some areas for readers to explore and interpret.
