FOR MAKEUP APPLICATION, DESIGN IS UPSIDE DOWN
The problem with these glasses and so many like them is that they are designed upside down for the purpose I want them for; putting on makeup. Other people may need them for other purposes.I have monovision. I see close with my left eye and far with my right eye so my right eye does not help me see to apply makeup to my left eye when my left eye is closed. I need a reading glass With magnification for my right eye to help see what I need to do to my left eye. These glasses are a bad design for this purpose.A person could take a regular pair of reading glasses and carefully remove the lens and the “bottom” of the glass frame for the eye that must be made up (rather than removing the top frame.) The nose piece and the ear pieces would be just right for sitting on the face and resting on the ears. With these glasses when the top frame is removed, the bottom frame is in the way when trying to make up the eye.I turned mine upside down and heated the ear pieces so they turned down also. This worked beautifully except the nose piece is upside down and can’t be altered.Hopefully some glass designer who wears makeup will read this review and redesign them so the bottom is open and getting to the eye to apply make up is easier!!!And you’re welcome ahead of time!

Make-up glasses that are a pain in the... eye
Having to rotate the lens every time I need to switch eyes is really inconvenient. And the lower rim interferes with applying eyeliner to the lower lid.The old “flip-up” style is preferable to this configuration.Won’t be buying or recommending this product again.

Takes practice
The ideal is super great it does have some flaws and definitely takes practice using these for putting on makeup it does help because I can’t see ANYTHING up close without my glasses si putting on my makeup was a lot of guess work the patt im haven’t figured out is the eye without the lens has to stay closed so how do you put mascara on while your eye is close I gave it 5 starts because it does help and i think ad i use them more i will learn how to apply my makeup

Awkward.
I bought these specifically for doing eyeliner. Guess I didn’t think it through. They are just really hard to work around, hard to position the brush to get a continuous, smooth line. Might be okay for doing shadow, but I’ll be looking for a good magnifying mirror instead.

Great if you have perfect vision.
I made a mistake ordering these because I need 2 lenses that bend downwards to apply eye make-up. These are great for someone who does not require 2 lenses for up-close-up work and has either perfect vision or is near-sighted.

Dissatisfied
The lens is not very good. I’d be better off popping out the lenses of some reading glasses and removing part of the frames. The lenses are too distorted to see clearly enough to use them.I plan to give these away or return them. It was worth a try.

Crazy
Using the glasses is difficult because of the different RX for the eyes. I have not mastered it. I think I should have ordered a magnifying mirror. I have to take the glasses off to change to use on the other eye.

Love these!
These are ideal for me as mono vision readers. I have one 20/20 eye and one blind as a bat eye. I use these all day long to work on the computer for my job. I was purchasing readers and popping out one of the lenses. No need to do that anymore.
