My dad is a minister and he absolutely loved his gift

I bought this for a family friend who I know gets depressed. I have to say that we opened a few blue verses and they were really sad… not uplifting at all. I felt really embarrassed because the Bible verses for loneliness and sadness made them feel more sad. One verse for sadness said something like “I was so sad I didn’t wish to eat” another said something like wishing death??? I had a prayer jar someone gifted me, so I immediately emptied the verses in this jar and replaced them with the verses I had in the jar someone purchased on Etsy and gifted me. I think someone just searched “sad” on a Bible verse website and printed whatever came up. Would have loved for the verses to be more uplifting ESPECIALLY if someone reached for one color coded for when they are lonely or depressed.

This is truly awesome. The prayers are color coated and are big enough print to read them. This would make a great gift idea or if you’re just needing a prayer or edified. This is truly a great idea for anyone and love the color coated to match what prayer you’re looking for. Comes in a cute gift box too.

I must say this is absolutely amazing! The packaging was so well done, and you could really tell that a lot of care went into it. The jar itself is made of glass with a convenient screw-top lid and a label that explains everything inside. What's really neat is that the scripture slips are color-coded, and the colors are so uplifting. The Bible verses are from the NIV version and are neatly categorized. I think this would make such a thoughtful gift for someone or for personal use. It's such a clever idea, and I can see this lasting for a very long time.

The packaging is secure. There's a little gift card inside just in case this is a gift. The verses and categories are very well chosen.

I have this in my daughter’s room to help with teenage emotions and knowing where to turn to. She was actually thankful for it. It is easy to use and understandable for a child to pick up on how to use. The papers are long and just folded. So it is a simple set up but has meaningful use.
