45 Shades Eyeshadow Palette, Highly Pigmented Neutral Tones Collection Makeup Palette, Matte Shimmer Metallic Glitter Eye Shadow For Long Lasting Eye Make Up

I cannot believe how much of good quality this eyeshadow pallet is! The price is super good and better then any of the expensive quality eye shadow pallets I bought in the past. The color is super pretty and comes out nice. (BEWARE that in the picture that is only one layer so it can be brighter and more bold) All the colors are smudge proof except for all the blacks and really dark colors!

Arrived wrapped in plastic. Doesn’t have a sleeve and opens vertically like other large palettes. Like the color tones used with the text on the front. Inside has a plastic film covering the shades. I like to keep these films for mixing other products instead of throwing them away. Board has forty five various shades, it’s lightweight and I like the hot pink background since it makes the shades pop a little more. Board had some minor markings from the darker color’s fall out at some point. Majority of the palette is pressed pigments and not “eyeshadow”. This explains why it’s marketed more as a multi-use for both face/eyes and not solely as an eyeshadow palette. Disclaimer about not being intended to use on the immediate eye area is due to the shades that are pressed pigments containing certain dyes/color additives that the FDA hasn’t approved for use around the eyes, yet. Main complication is allergens and staining so patch testing is always a good idea. Shades are pressed nicely into the pans. Both mattes and shimmers have a smooth texture, not bulky or chalky. The actual eyeshadow shades were a bit dull but, you could easily build up and swipe without it being patchy. Blended out well. The pressed pigments I applied completely different from the eyeshadows. Had to make sure I used primer and a dense/stiff brush that didn’t have soft bristles (occasionally used a setting spray on the bristles too). If I didn’t use these my shirt and everything near was going to be covered in glitter so the shimmer has a lot of kickback and fallout if you’re not careful. I was able to shake my shirt and watch the glitter fall to the ground. Pigments packed easily and stayed put, made sure to keep a light hand with this. If you add too much, especially the darker shimmers it’s going to appear patchy and uneven from not being able to blend out from the amount added. Lighter toned colors are going to take some building up to see the payoff, few are not very noticeable because they are so light. If you’ve got the additional time to take the extra steps of using primer/spraying brush etc and applying at a slow pace for the pressed pigments it’s a nice palette that offers various combos. Didn’t have any irritation or staining.
