Perfect for sun sails.
Perfect for the hardware we bought here. They let the sails give and take without ripping or breaking off pole. We do these hanging jobs here in the neighborhood . Will buy again.

Good for dog pull
I actually link 3 of these together for a dog pull to give my large dog some shock absorption when she hits the end.

Okay, but I thought they would flex more
I got these to provide strain relief more my antenna guy lines during storms. I can see how they work for short guy lines, like the ones on a tent, but for me they just don't have enough travel between zero and max compression (maybe 1" or a bit more) to be of much use.
