Liquid Gold!
This Manuka honey is absolutely delicious! It has a rich, complex flavour and a smooth, creamy texture. I've been using it to soothe my sore throat and add a touch of natural sweetness to my tea. Highly recommend for anyone who loves honey! 🍯✨

Tasty Manuka Honey
I've had premium honey's before but only those locally produced in the UK, so not Manuka honey. This product tastes good, but as expected with Manuka it has strong floral notes in the taste - I'm not sure it'd be to everyone's tastes but I rather like it. I also like the texture - at first glance I thought the honey had crystallised, but it's just thicker and cloudy, presumably from being a raw unpasteurised honey.I know Manuka honey is expensive, and this is £25 for 250g at the time of writing. I don't think this is bad value, but also it could be more competitively priced. It's certainly not something I would buy regularly at this price.

No wonder this honey is so famous
The media could not be loaded. I've been eating honey for more than 30 years and I have tried a lot of different types but I have to admit this is the first time when I am having manuka honey and I am really impressed with its texture and taste. The good part about it is that it is non-gmo, it is packed in New Zealand where this honey is famous for and it is also raw which means that there is no added sugar. The taste of it is absolutely beautiful and I really enjoy having it. Initially I was thinking that I might use it to sweeten up my tea but without any doubt I prefer to eat it straight with the spoon from the jar. This is an amazing honey which I really love.

Tasty and well-presented specialist honey
Manuka honey is famous, but as I'd never really considered paying the very high prices it commands, I wasn't even sure, when it was offered to me for review, whether I was supposed to eat it or stick it on wounds! (Spoiler: either is possible, but you can DEFINITELY eat it! 😋)All honey is good for you in moderation, but what makes Manuka honey so special (and expensive) is its high concentration of a compound called methylglyoxal (MGO), which has antibacterial properties. Manuka honey is reputed to support oral health, gut health and skin health, among other things. It came in a very nice little giftable box, which was sealed. The jar was also sealed, both inside and out. I was slightly surprised that such a high-end product was in a plastic jar, not glass, but it comes all the way from New Zealand, so this may be a necessary concession to reduce shipping weight.Manuka honey production is very tightly regulated in New Zealand, so provenance was an important aspect of the presentation. A QR code on the lid let me trace the exact batch and see all its lab test results, confirming quality and authenticity. I could even see the approximate location of the hive. This was all very geeky, and some people will just want to eat the honey, but I found it interesting and informative. According to its published lab results, the particular batch I got comfortably exceeded the minimum for its labelled ratings. It was labelled at 555+ for MGO and 15+ for NPA, which are two alternative measures of antibacterial potency, but its actual scores were 591 and 16.3 respectively. It was reassuring to know the product achieved better than the legal minimums for its category. You could also see that it wasn't contaminated with pesticides. It is a "set" type honey (compared to runny), and quite dark. In taste, I found it quite caramelly, and almost fruity. It's different to other honeys I've tried, but still very definitely honey, so picky eaters should not feel too far outside their comfort zone.I have found it interesting and enjoyable to try it, and think it would make a nice gift for someone who's into that kind of thing.

Tastes good, but not amazing
The honey is darker in color and quite viscous, the overall taste was good, but not excellent. I personally would not get it again.
