The Walking Dead: The Ones Who Live - Season 1 [DVD]

Love TWD. Package arrived on time and in tact. I know this season was supposed to be a "one off", but I'm still hoping for more. Maybe a season 2 that focuses on some of the other Survivors. The Ones Who Live: Book of Judith.....maybe?

Very satisfied with the story and happy ending. Loved it! I was so glad to see Richonne in action again. I have been with TWD from the beginning 2010 and I was happy to say goodbye to Rick Grimes this way. Andrew Lincoln is an amazing actor and he and Danai Gurira create magic. If they do another fine...if not I'm glad I have all seasons of TWD and this final DVD to complete my collection. TWD made history.

So excited I’ve already seen the spin-off but I’m excited to see the extra features that are provided when you get the blu-ray. It really is a stellar cast lead by the amazing Andrew Lincoln & Danai Gurira King & Queen of the Apocalypse TWD Universe RickGrimes & MichonneGrimes aka Richonne and if you get a hands on a copy of season 1 buy it’s so worth it. It’s so cinematic you get everything romance, action, gore, horror.

Absolutely beautiful steelbook for a great conclusion. It’s not a perfect show, but gave an actual conclusion to some important characters from The Walking Dead. The steelbook does bring up the question of another season, as they have not announced one as of this review. With them writing season 1 on the box, I wonder if AMC wants another season or if they jumped the gun assuming the cast would come back for another season.

I was impatiently waiting for this due to it being a preorder. But it came and ive rewashed multiple times no issues!

Happy to own this DVD. Adored watching the 11 seasons of this classic TV show. This mini series was enjoyable. Worth the money.

Not sure if this was a series finally works either way

As any Walking Dead fan knows the character of Rick Grimes departed TWD after getting spirited away to parts unknown after a nasty accident, by person unknown, never to be heard from again. This mini series attempts to rekindle interest in the fate of the Rick Grimes character, as well as what happened to the character of Michonne, Rick's love interest in TWD. I have not watched the whole mini season but I thought it was a strained affair since TWD show basically moved on and away from both characters several seasons before the show ended with Season 11. I suppose the producers of TWD thought the two departed characters needed an "epilogue" and this mini series was it. I found it very disconnected from the TWD show somehow. I think they should have kept up on the two characters during TWD's regular seasons. In my opinion.
