The book came new and nice

Book is a good value. Many beautiful reproductions of paintings. There was a slight ripple in the pages, so it wasn't perfect but that did not affect the illustrations.

It contains a lot of nice pictures of the paintings of Paul Cezanne

I was going to give this as a gift but couldn’t because the cover was torn. I was going to return it but was convinced it would be accepted without the paper cover

Having just started an art course I chose to study Cezanne and knew little about him. I found the book very informative regarding his life and his painting methods. It was well written and illustrated with reproductions of a large collection of his paintings. I am unable to judge the quality of reproduction of his works though found them mostly quite helpful as an illustration of the use of colour, brush strokes, etc.

The book arrived in perfect condition.

Fantastic beginning over view on Cezanne

Bought this book for my dad for his birthday. He's and artist and a huge art enthusiast. He absolutely loves it! The pictures are great and he enjoyed reading the little snippets throughout the book. Would definitely recommend!

Each page has been written to fit so there is much duplication of wording, some on purple background the rest between italic data for each picture. The pages are so shiny that reading the font is uncomfortable and unpleasant. The publishers should be ashamed on ruining what could and should have been a good read. Please read mark and learn (if you have good lighting)

I love this period of art and am an amateur artist myself. Although it is not a coffee table art book, it book gives a complete view of Cezanne's work, A wonderful inexpensive book for those of us on a limited budget and great for the children too to get a taste of great art.
