Alphabet Songs (Letterland) (Letterland S.) Audio CD – Audiobook, November 30, 2004

This CD is awesome. My twin 3.5 year old daughters started learning the sounds of letters immediately after playing this and love to come and tell me what sound a specific letter makes through out the day.This was especially helpful for one of my girls who had no interest in this prior, like the other did. My "eager learner" had been hounding me to learn to read and has a great amount of patience so we would sit down with flash cards to learn sounds of letters, it was all well and good for her no fun for my other daughter, she was just not interested and doesn't have the patience to sit still (naturally because she is 3) but she felt left out. So I bought the book & this cd to try and remedy it. They both loved letter land instantly! It was actually quite a confidence booster for my daughter who had no interest in learning her letter sounds prior. She now beams daily as she tells me what sounds certain letters make. And my "eager learner" is so excited to be making progress towards learning to read. Even my youngest at 1.5 years loves listening to and reading letter land with us.Actually the twins ask me to play this CD so much that carrying it to and from the car and house is getting a bit burdensome so looks like I'll be purchasing another!5 Stars!!

I bought this when I learned my daughter’s school use this program to learn letters and sounds. She loves sining along in the car.

My great-nephew plays the cd over and over. He loves it. His younger sister loves it too. I used Letterland with first grade and the music reinforced phonics and my students learned so much faster when I used this CD.

My nephew is not too interested. I was hoping for more also, something he can sing with. It’s good, but not for him.

Great for car rides. I wish they offered a digital version

Bought this to supplement the kindergarten curriculum that my child's elementary school is using. It is a favorite in the car, and helps with learning phonics.

Our 23 month old loves letterland and can sing all the songs!! Great product for learning!!!

In fairness, maybe I need to re-read the description on this cd. I'm wondering if it is supposed to go in conjunction with the letterland books. The words in the songs are fast and difficult to understand, which I feel, kind of defeats the purpose of teaching letter sounds.
