First off, it arrived with loose screws rattling around in the base. Found where they belong but holes were striped out, used a plastic repair gel to reset the screws.2nd- fully charged it ran for about 2 hours, not bad.3rd- it only cleaned about a third of a 24ft round above ground pool.The unit looked to be refurbished or used when I received it, not real happy about tha either.The 1st cleaning was done while the pool pump was running and may have affected the efficiency of this bot, so I will recharge and run another cycle without the pump running to see if it improves because there is still 2/3 of the pool floor to be cleaned.Revised review:Ok, it works better when the pool pump is not running because the water is not moving around.Another bad thing is that when you retrieve the unit, if you do not keep it level the debris that it collected will pour out of the side dumping leaves and debris back in to the pool.It definitely does not clean off algae, you will still need to brush that off manually.Over all it does help collect the loose debris off of the bottom without having to run the pump and filter system to do it, and no tangled hoses.You need a duel hook to retrieve the unit to grab it from both sides in order to keep from dumping all of the debris that it collected back in to the pool.

I found that this failed to clean even a small portion of debris on the pool bottom. However my simple rechargeable pool vacuum picks everything up. I was so hoping to get out of this task.

I have a 500 dollar cordless robotic vacuum cleaner and wanted to try this one to see if I would be able to put this one in while the other is charging. I have two oak trees near my pool and it seems to get leaves in it more than most pools in our neighborhood. So I put this little vacuum to work and while it is not as good as my expensive one it will get most of the job done. And I will use this as my backup vacuum.

As much as we loved the idea of having this vacuum, what we noticed is that as it got close to the very tiny particles, that it pushed the tiny particles away, but it did pick up the larger debris.
