Update 06/21/2025The seller reached out to me after I posted my negative review and they apologized profusely. They offered me a replacement which arrived this morning. I connected it and it sounds great! This compact soundbar squeezes a lot of good sounding audio out of its small package. (I needed a compact soundbar for a small TV in my kitchen that is in a very cramped spot. (The TV's internal speakers were dreadful!) This was the only inexpensive soundbar that was small enough to fit. I can now recommend this product. If a problem is encountered, contact the seller and they'll make it right without a hassle.Original review:If I could give this product ZERO STARS I certainly would, as it arrived new and defective. (No visible physical damage to the package or contents either.)After unpacking, I hooked the RIOWOIS soundbar up to the AUX jack on a small TV using the included 3.5mm auxiliary cable. Even with the volume control on the TV set at minimal audio, so as to make sure the soundbar's input was not overloaded, the soundbar produced horribly distorted sound. I tried my phone, same thing. Hooking up another soundbar that I already owned, and both sources worked as they should, so the problem definitely was this RIOWOIS soundbar.A frustrating and infuriating waste of my time and energy!

I love this sound bar! My bedroom smart TV has terrible sound and I could barely hear it at 40+ volume via my remote. I found this reasonably priced sound bar and decided to give it a try. It is easy to assemble, and I recommend using the optical cord for the best quality sound/connection. The only drawback is that the remote doesn't include AAA batteries so be sure to have some on hand. Another tip is to set your TV to PCM and turn down the volume to zero. if you use a Roku, set the audio setting to SPEAKER. This speaker gets LOUD so make sure you adjust the volume lower using ONLY the sound bar remote.

It work fine, but my TV was quite old as the new cable cannot connect to my TV. So I use my old audio av cable with the Red and White coloring and connect it and it work great.

Purchased a sound bar the 26 Sep 2022, the name on the sound bar said (SAIYIN). EXCELLENT. Based on how satisfied I was with the product, August of this year 2023.I went to my order history and decided that I am going to do a second purchase of the item. I did, however when it arrived, the name on it was (RIOWOIS).I said this can't be good, the very fact it is just a bunch of vowels with some consonants creating a word that can not be pronounce. I realized that this can not be good.Anyways, I unboxed, set up. I realized the audio from AUX is very low, bluetooth connects easily but the sound quality takes too much of a high volume level for you to really get the punch.The OPTICAL connection was what puts this product completely in the trash-can. When I connected the sound bar to my TV OPTICAL connection, there was absolutely no audio sound except for a loud interference similar to a transmission from a two way radio.Why would a seller advertise something with a different name than what the product actually is? Why? Why would a seller use a different name to sell a product?This action is utterly deceiving, cunning and unfair and this kind of behavior should not make it on amazon. Online shoppers need the truth about a product. Is not like you are walking into a store and being assisted by a store attendant.Even at the point of check out the product was still saying (SAIYIN), it was when the product got shipped, that was the time they updated the name to whatever this is (RIOWOIS).This is misleading and Amazon need to conduct a better stream line of the products that are being sold on their platform.This product is a complete piece of garbage and it needs to be treated for what it is. Toss in the garbage bin. VERY VERY VERY BAD PRODUCT.AUG 25, 2023. Ok, so after receiving my item I was pretty upset based on the distortion that i heard in the system. I wrote my initial review based on how I was feeling. However the seller reached out to me.Very curtious, kind, understanding with a 100% professionalism. The seller informed me of some methods that I could try to achive the best sound quality and also some trouble shooting information.The seller even go as far as replacing the item, I am super happy with the great assistance and rhe great customer service from this seller.Just a word of advice to customers, (sometimes before we write reviews based on how unsatisfied we are, contact the seller first and try to see how best the seller can assist). This seller has really opened my eyes to a whole nother level of cutomer service and I would definitely purchase from this seller again.Even if its not about the product but the level of professionalism was the element that won everything.Rest assure as soon as I received the new item, I will be updating this review again.UPDATE TUESDAY, SEPTEMBER 26, 2023.Received the new replacement, set it up and put it to a full system test. works fine in every way, I am completely satisfied with the level of professionalism and the customer service experience. I would definitely purchase from this seller once more. Sometimes it is not really about the product, most times it's the approach that the seller takes in creating a unique experience for customers and or potential customers. Upon opening the package, I was impressed with the weight from the size of the speaker magnets. I purchased this for my new 55 inch TV. I had my TV set for clear voice, but still I had a problem, understanding voice over background music.I originally set this up through optical, but then I changed it and set it for Bluetooth. I turned the speaker volume way up on the sound bar remote. I then set the sound bar remote to movies. I found this to be the best sound for me. By having the sound bar set through Bluetooth, I am able to use my original TV remote to control the volume. I am now able to hear perfectly with my TV volume only set at eight. If I turned my TV volume way up, I would be blowing out the windows. The sound quality is excellent. Another feature that I like is now when I watch my Roku box, the volume stays the same whether I’m watching TV or the Roku box.
