I've got a really sweet dog who was not made for apartment living, which is too bad since I moved to NYC. Within a day of me turning this on and putting it on the lowest setting, that pup has become very perfect or barking low enough that it is perfect (he alerts me but not my entire apartment complex).Doesn't cause any pain, just seems to be an annoying sound. I'm a huge fan of this device and much prefer it to things like dog collars.Works very well, no complaints.

I have two dachshunds, and they love to bark. This was easy to set up and sits at the top of my cabinet in the living room for maximum effectiveness. They do still bark but stop right away when the box goes off. I have noticed them ignoring it on occasion, but it depends on what they're barking at in the moment.I've tried other devices, wall mounted and hand-held and none have been as effective as this one. I would say that it might work best with one dog vs. two. Otherwise, I'm quite happy with this purchase.

Bought this for my beagle.... Thankfully, it's been completely quiet since the device arrived. One bark and the device stops the barking immediately. Highly recommend!

Didn’t work for my dogs. It may be because I have two dogs instead of one but not for me.

It works perfectly for what I need. I have issues with my dogs barking crazy in the morning as soon as they sense somebody awake. I put it next to their cage and they do not bark anymore. I also don't need to keep using it because after those experiences with them hearing the sound (it's just a small sound you won't be able to hear yourself very well) They have already been trained not to bark! PLEASE note that this is not for long-distance. It will not stop them from barking everywhere. It won't stop any neighbors dogs from barking. It is small range. I recommend you get multiple to put in each room.

Adopted a German Shepherd that has 10% Husky. He’s always on guard duty and doesn’t stop barking even if we tell him to stop. I tried the shockcolor but that only got him more aggressive and louder. We have brought him to training lessons and muzzled him, but he’s the most stubborn dog weever had. His bark is so loud it truly hurts my ears. After almost two years of dealing with this huge problem and bought this as a last resort because I seriouslywas thinking of giving up and taking to the SPCA, which I truly dreamed, but it was that bad here at our home. This device works great and we now have somequality back in our life again. My sister also has great success with her Jack Russell that she’s had over ten years. So glad I didn’t give up because we truly loveour huge German Shepard Husky.

I have had it six weeks. Does not work will charge but does not light up and cannot switch modes. No good.
