I have been using this product for years.It does a good job at deep cleaning my sensitive skin. I use it at least once per week.Only use a little bit.It is a small tube but it normally lasts me for a whole year.Do not go close to your eyes.Avoid the sun, or your summer tan will never leave you.

I would have never paid attention to Sothys Desquacrem if not the sample that I got when I ordered other product. My skin is aging, but problem skin, fairly oily during the summer, extremely sensitive to not suitable skin products and breaking out very easily. I would never consider a cream type cleanser, but this product works wonders. Although it is very rich and creamy, it cleanses skin perfectly and leaves it toned, moisturized, clear and not oily at all. The smell is very pleasant, relaxing and natural. It is very economic (or I am:), the sample packet lasted me for about one week..Today the actual order arrived and it works just as well as the sample. Definitely going to look into other Sothys products.

This product was recommended by a clinician at my yearly Spa facial. It has made my skin very soft and clear. I think this product is not a one size fits all since we all don't have the same skin issues. The reviewers who are not satisfied with results may not be using the right product for them. I highly recommend seeing a professional to determine what you should use. I have mild rosacea and this works very well for my combination skin. I'm sure Sothys has other products that could help with just about any skin type.

A client at work recommended this product and I get non stop compliments on my skin. Cleared up acne, got rid of the majority of black heads and my skin is smoother. I leave it on for longer than the recommended time when I'm in the shower and I don't use everyday but still seems to be doing wonders for my skin. Use a great moisturizer after as it's a bit drying.

I've used desquacrem for years. It is creamy and non-drying, but my facialist taught me to rub it on the black-head prone areas, re-wet and continue to smooth it in. The stuff somehow loosens/dissolves the sebum and gross stuff in your pores and leaves the skin cleaner, but not dried out and tight. A little goes a long way. Truly a one-of-a-kind product worth having whether you are 14 or 40 (and I've used in 3 of those decades)...

This is a MUST have product in your skin care range. Team this with the Gommage from Sothys and your skin will feel like it has received a full treatment. The combination of Gommage followed by Desquacrem is a Sunday night must for me to ensure I have glowing skin for the week coming.

I have been using this stuff for years and its brilliant. Really gets deep down into the skin to dissolve sebum which will keep the pores clear and clean. Keeps my whiteheads and blackheads away.

I have pretty serious adult acne, with prominent blackheads on my nose. Following the usage instructions on the Sothys website (which are completely different from those on the packaging - a real problem), I applied it, let it sit for 1-2 minutes, lathered and rinsed it off. I don't know what the action is, but easily 70% of my pore blockage cleared. I've tried masques and strips and none of them have ever been this effective. It's pretty drying, however, so I found that even with very oily skin, I couldn't use it more than twice a week. I'd recommend that you start slowly and increase use over time to determine your tolerance.An unfortunate side effect of its ability to draw the gunk out of my pores is that it draws some whiteheads to the surface, as well. However, this effect lessened with regular use. I highly recommend this product.
