I am completely obsessed with this series and the Kingman brothers, this was such a great book!I seriously cannot get enough of the Kingman brothers and I love Hayes so so sooo much. I mean, this man is a walking green flag, someone who studies spicy romance books to be great in bed?? Oh baby Sign me up!!I love the support they give each other, how they were always there for through thick and thin, how Hayes was the absolute sweetest human and so nerdy and I loved him and Willa was always so unapologetically herself,I love how their relationship developed over the book and how they are willing to give up everything for each other for the love they share.I admit, I am a little obsessed with these books because of my love of football players and of course I am a curvy girl so these books are like amazing, Amy's writing leaves me feeling loved and good about myself, giving me all of the best vibes.💘🥺

hayes & Willa 💕
⭐️Rating 4🌶️ Spice 3🐈Tropes🐈Found familyGirl next doorAthletePlus size bookwormBrothers ex friendLet me start by saying that I am loving The cocky Kingmans series! I mean the family dynamic is incredible! I’m in love with all of the siblings, especially after reading Chris & Trixie’s story and then Declen’s & Kelsey’s story! And Hayes and Willa didn’t disappoint! I mean Hayes was sweet and adorable but also had that sexy guy vibe going on…that you want in a book boyfriend! It was refreshing to read about plus sized heroines and absolutely love the confidence! I loved willa’s uncles and the cafe setting! And the crazy cats. And obviously loved the rest of the kingman family! They are always so loveable and it’s so great to read! All around a good story! And definitely looking forward to the next book! And the next kingman brother to find their ride or die… love of their life. 💕

not my favourite
I like this author and her writing skills but I did not fall in love with the heroine as much as I have in her other books. I’ve read that the author based a lot of herself on her which makes me feel bad that I didn’t really like the lead.I found that the led wasn’t willing to compromise and all good relationships have to have this. And it wasn’t just with the romantic lead. I didn’t like the relationship between the lead female and her twin. She just always seemed to put herself and her feelings before others. I know it’s only a story but if I can’t imagine myself being friends with the lead than it’s never going to be a fave. As I said it’s still well written and the banter is still what I love about the author but if you asked me to rank this series this would be at the bottom

Really good
I have to say this is exactly what the author said in the introduction a lot of fluff really good fluff and I’m here for it! The love story is magic and they do fall fast and hard and I love how none of them are ready to compromise their dreams for the other. Hayes and Willa truly grow together so that both can have their own happy ending

Brilliant
I have to admit Amy’s books always want me needing more! The romance happened quick and remained, which is refreshing there is only so many off, on off, on romances that you can take! Not going to lie had me worried towards the end when they start to question how their wants and needs might possibly get in the way! But they remained true to each other and managed to find a way to make it work! Can’t wait for the next book, I do love these kingmans men!

Talented writer but needs an editor that will push back
This book bugs me. The author is clearly talented, its technically well written, it has a unique premise and its funny. So why am I annoyed? 95% of the book is extremely low-stakes/low-drama romance where we get to bask in a nice couple falling in love, the author then decides to shoehorn in a crisis. Which as well as ramping up the drama needlessly, it is so easily resolvable, you must wonder if both characters received a severe concussion or just the man (Hayes)? This leads to the bit that annoys me the most. The solution to this non-problem is a massive dose of nepotism, which then makes Willa's unchecked privilege throughout the rest of the novel impossible to ignore. Honestly, it seems like the author could do with a much stronger editor who could give some constructive challenge. Amy Award still has a number of Kingmans to go in her series and I think the reviews for the last two books and the next (non-arc) make it clear that its diminishing returns. That’s a real shame as the author could be a real breathe of fresh air in the romance genre.

Another smasher from Amy!!
I have waited for this book - and no shame was hooked again from page 1.The story, how real it feels. These are people who could live next door ( if you’re really lucky!), love that main character still a plus size girl!! It’s such a great book, with real world problems, with so many funny one liners and absolutely cracking pet names ( I expect nothing less- lol) , all mixed together with a little Kingsman spice!! Loved it - Amy award it was fantastic! Like any good coffee- sweet and spicy !

Hat trick series
Be forewarned, once you start this book, you will not want to put it down until you’ve reached the end. The characters are so well written that they feel like people I should end up sending Christmas cards to; they are ridiculously real, believable, and epically lovable. Amy Award offers the reader a crazy mix of reality and angst with exceptionally well written spicy scenes, making this book a thoroughly addictive read. Add to that the bonus themes and references for us Trek fans… let’s just say I’ll be reading this a second time and a third and probably a fourth… Just like the other Kingman books!

The P*ssy next door
In the intro our amazing author tells us this is a novel of fluff to enjoy. And while I have enjoyed every story in this series so far I have to politely disagree. This story is so much more than fluff. It is an escape from what can sometimes be a hard reality. It is joy, it is fun, it is full of laughter and love with a little crazy and some sizzle. I have been waiting for this latest chapter in the Kingman series. I had it marked on my book reading calander and I waited for the release date with much anticipation. I had to force myself to keep putting it down as I didn't want it to be the end so quickly... I drew it out for as long as I could. That being said I completely enjoyed this wonderful adventure and cannot wait until September for the next story in the series. So to Ms. Ward, I send you much appreciation for successfully yet again taking this reader on an amazing journey, please never stop writing you are a treasure and a great amazing author who has brought much joy to this reader! If you have not yet encountered the Kingsman clan I recommend you start at the first book in the series. You will not be disappointed and a great new adventure awaits you.

Love this series
I loved this book.It was so heartwarming and fun. The Kingmans are definitely my favorite football family. They are always there to help each other as well as give each other crap.Willa has just come home from teaching abroad because one of her g-uncles have news. She is hoping that the news is good, as one of them has been really sick. While she is home she runs into Hayes, who is not the same guy who was friends with her brother when she left Denver. Now he's a pro football player and the sweetest guy she's ever met. This was a wonderful story. I love that the Kingmans like fluffy girls. This series is a must read. I can't wait to see which one is next.
