Bulky design
I don’t know if it works or not, but the unit is too big and bulky to fit under any trim cover. I had near the plug.

Easy install
This is they way to go when installing a dashcam. Mush easier than running a wire down to the fuse box. Also it gives some info on the box for how much the cam in using and if there is power to the cam.

Get the correct video.
Originally I had a problem fitting it to my Jaguar XF, partly because the video from the QR scan wasn't for my model. I got in touch with FitDVR and they were very helpful and eventually found the correct video for me. Fitting the cables behind the roof liner is a bit fiddly but with some care the plugs and most of the wiring can be hidden away neatly. The adaptor works perfectly and takes up very little space at the top of my windscreen. Overall very pleased.
