Awesome features
This is best I've owned! It has tightness adjustment and comes with Allen head wrench for adjustment. This also has a locking lever so you can take your imprint and lock the imprint in place. The comb is beveled which makes working with the imprint easier. This is plastic comb material of the proper stiffness but will not easily break. Very well built and good features. I'm coming over to this style gauge from a metal pin comb which walked away as a loaned tool, thank you for not returning as I like my new tool!

Cool gadget
Brought it for my husband to use, but had to return it because he had one already. Did the return the day before Christmas and still haven’t had a refund. Can’t really say anything good or bad, but we have something equivalent to it but I would say works great for home projects.

A great little tool for any carpenter
As a trim carpenter this is a great addition to my tool arsenal. Useful measurements and simple templating with the accuracy of a 16th inch. Great tool for the price

Amazing tool!
This has been wonderful. Some of my favorite features: you can adjust how much force is required to move the tool, you can you lock it after measuring, and it has a ruler on it!

Just didnt work for our project
I wish I could give this a better rating, we were hoping to use this to route our flooring around our fireplace. Unfortunately this just didn't work, the way the grooves are just dont create a good line for anything with rounded or multiple angles. I think if using for basic square angles or cut outs it may work better.

It made easy work of marking curves to cut in ceramic tile.

Countour is great, unless your contouring from the floor up a wall.
The points are small, so it's better than other options. You're able to easily trace without jagged edges from larger contact points. That said, it's about 3/4" off the floor. So, if you're contouring something like a bathtub for surrounding tile or a wall, you're still going to have to guestimate the space between the base of the gauge and the beginning of the contact points.
