I recently had the opportunity to test out the Scuba Dive Light Diving Flashlight from PFSN, and I have to say, I'm incredibly impressed. This is a well constructed flashlight that is really bright and reliable. It feels like most other metal, heavy duty flashlights, but this one is waterproof. I don't scuba, or even swim much but I do go out in the rain sometimes so this would be a great flashlight to keep in the car. Everyone knows that when it's raining/pouring out, a flashlight is critical so having one that's reliable is nice.One thing to note, the battery for this flashlight requires that it be charged in a charger that's outside of the flashlight so consider that when purchasing. If you're like me, I confuse my chargers often so this might be something that could be a deal breaker for you.

This comes with a 21700 Lithium battery but as per the instructions (And tested out by me) you can use an 18650 battery. I really liked this since I have quite a few of the 18650 batteries and now I don't need to buy an extra 21700 for this. Also, I folded piece of paper a few times and put it under the barrel of one of my 18650 batteries so that the included charger would line up and it DID charge my 18650 just fine with that small MOD. Oh, and 21700 that came with took a few hours to fully charge, just a heads up.I only Skin Dive/Snorkel these days so I'm sure this will do me just fine. It's nice and BRIGHT. On the LOW setting it's just as bright as half of my other LED small lights on HIGH. On high it's on par with my Old "O-Beam" light. For use on Land, I'll only rarely ever need to use the High setting on this. This beam is a nice tight circle which I also like.My only gripe is having to cycle through all settings to shut it off and it does not remember your last setting. Not worth docking a star over since at this price point it's Head Shoulders above the other lights I have.I'm loving this light and highly recommend it.

I'm not a diver, and I hope that this flashlight is never actually submerged. But I do enjoy hiking and packing, and feel very secure with this flashlight.When I am far from anywhere, I want to have a flashlight that is impervious to weather and can survive a drop into a stream. This particular light was interesting also for the lockout feature and for the battery indicator. The lockout is great - I can stow the flashlight in a pack and know that it won't be accidentally turned on. It's also great to have some warning when the power is getting low. Finally, the SOS mode, while something I hope I never need, could be quite important in a pinch. Although the beam doesn't have a zoom feature, it does have a very bright central spot, with a large flood area, which I think is almost as good.The machined aluminum housing is nicely finished. It fits well in my medium-sized hands.Along with the flashlight you get a removable rechargeable battery (3.7V, 4800mAh), a USB-A charger, a lanyard, and spare o-rings for sealing the battery compartment. Note that it is not possible to charge the battery while it's in the flashlight. That seems to be the only real disadvantage of using this flashlight on land compared to others marketed for camping use.Overall, I'm quite pleased with this flashlight, and would recommend it even for activities above water.

First of all, I love flashlights and have a ton of them! This flashlight is one of the brightest flashlight that I now own! The wide angle and the throw are great, which makes it a hybrid of sorts. The build quality is one of the strongest that I have seen in a long time, and to charge it you have to unscrew a watertight port to place it in its included charger. They include extra O rings and lanyard. The lanyard is plenty big to go over any wetsuit. It feels good in my hand when carrying it normally, and the lanyard is really awesome. This dive light can go down to depths of 150 meters without any problems. It has 3,000 lumens and a 4,800 mAh battery, the beam distance is 400 meters, and you have over 20 hours of battery life. It took me less than an hour to fully charge the battery. It is now one of my favorite flashlights. I love the fact that I can walk at night, even in the rain, and not have to worry about ruining my flashlight. This flashlight is not only functional, but a lot of fun. I do wish that it came with a case. It is very much undervalued for the quality and build that you get! I highly recommend it.
