My sister purchased two for my dogs a few Christmases ago. My rescue Aussie-doodle LOVED this pretzel and stole both of them (my other dog really didn't care for it). He is a chewer and basically over the months managed to chew it down. I will find orange pieces around the house on occasion, but the vacuum gets them up. Since his first one, I have ordered several more. He is always excited to get a new pretzel! I'd say one lasts him about 3 months or so before I feel it needs to be thrown away--even though it's not gone, just well chewed. It is his favorite chew toy. I will purchase over and over until he doesn't want them anymore!

I purchased this same toy over 5 years ago. My dogs love it. Every dog that visits loves it. I purchased this in hopes that it is the same toy and I am so happy that it is. Will be purchasing another to have on hand.

Just the right density for intense chewers. It passes the fingernail test vets say you should use when buying chewy toys. I can barely make an indentation in the surface using my fingernail, which means it won’t crack a tooth. This is especially important with puppy teeth. It’s also one of the rare chewy toys my dog can’t totally destroy. I think we’re about ready for a new one after about 4 months.

This has become the favorite toy of each of the dogs in our family. We puppy-sat my brothers dog for a weekend and this pretzel toy accompanied him. Although our dogs literally have buckets of toys, they all fought over this one! So I had to order one of these pretzels for each one of our four dogs. Each dog will sit on the couch, each with their own pretzel and chew on them for hours! It’s pretty funny.For reference, we have a 7lb chihuahua, 11lb maltipoo, 23lb Scottish terrier and a 21lb mini golden doodle. Each dog considers these pretzels their favorite toy and have been for over a year.

Our 3 year old lab enjoys chewing on this, but isn’t obsessed with it! She does bite pieces off but they are not not difficult to keep picked up.

Bought this with a few other toys to keep dog occupied while in crate after surgery. This toy was her favorite! She is a heavy chewing and it only lasted a few weeks but it was her favorite so it got chewed a lot in those weeks. We have definitely had more durable toys but I would buy again since she liked it so much.

Good quality. Very sturdy. My dog isn't too fussed about chewing on it unfortunately. She may warm to it.

As my dog (Springer Spaniel) is not a significant chewer, I opted for the flexible version.The size of the chew was about right, but maybe a little smaller that I was expecting. There was obviously a tasty smell/flavour, as my dog seemed excited when I was extracting it from the packaging.The chew occupied her for a long time, but she did manage to chew little bits off, which were very gnarly and sharp. The chewing also left a similar texture on the chew itself. Luckily, my dog tends to chew bits of things and spit them out, rather than eat them, but there could be the potential for another dog to get internal injuries by ingesting any small bits chewed off. This is the main reason for the 3 stars.Admittedly, I might have chosen the wrong firmness of chew, but I won’t be trying another owing to our initial experience.

My rescue boxer never figured out the part about chewing toys/treats. This is the first toy he is chewing! It is quite hard, but seems to be just right for his teeth and gives in a bit, so I would not expect it to be ultra durable, but a chew toy shouldn't be. Defo happy with this buy and will get a new one when it wears out.
