Decent Inlay kit
This solid brass router inlay kit comes with two 1/4" shank spiral upcut router bits with a 1/8" and 1/4" cutting diameter respectively. The bits each come in their own end mill plastic cases for storage. The bits are sharp and do a decent job of cutting a clean groove for inlay. A single sheet of instructions is included for using this kit, but surprisingly in that short amount of space it covers all the essentials to get one started on inlaying with the kit. The brass bushing and tightening nut have good smooth threading that is nicely machined. The aligning pin has a tight tolerance as it should, and the two rings also work as they should. This is a decent inlay kit at a reasonable value for its performance and quality.

Perfect Inlay Kit
This SpeTool Router Bits Solid Brass Router Inlay Kit, Include 1/8" and 1/4 Cutting Diameter with 1/4 Shank Carbide Spiral Upcut Router Bit, Router Bushing Guide Set for Wood is the perfect little complete set for cutting out out and making inlays. These parts are very well made precision tools. The bushing, tightening nut and 2 rings are made of nice solid brass with very tight tolerances. It even comes with a centering pin for lining up the bushing. The 2 included router bits are very sharp clean cutting upcut spiral bits that are enclosed in nice individual plastic tubes with solid lids that hold the bits in place securely. This kit comes with nice easy to read instructions and everything else you need to cut out and make wooden inlays.

Standard bushing and guides but quality bits.
I have a few different template routing kits and I can't really tell any difference between the brass elements in this kit and the rest of them. They all function well. This particular kit is machined as you would expect for brass... a few divots and imperfections here and there, but completely functional. It comes with a very useful user guide that tells you how to set up the system for routing. The bits appear to be of high quality. They are very smoothly machined, straight smooth shanks leading up to nice spiraling flutes. All edges are sharp and well machined, the tips are precise under a magnifying glass.Have to run it to see how it all performs, but from a manufacturing standpoint it looks good.

Get started with inlays
Whether for decoration or to add stability across a crack, inlays are fun to use. I tend not to be overly particular as to the symmetry of my inlays, since most of the time I am doing it for structural support. This brass kit is similar to most I have seen online. It does come with two up-cut bits that eventually you will probably want to replace.I attached the bushing to my Bosch 1617EVS. I had to remove the collet nut in order for the ring to fit under the plate. Other than that, the installation was a breeze. I used the centering pin to make sure the bushing and the collet were dead on.The kit works well. If you have never done any inlay work, get yourself a bowtie template and watch a couple of videos on how to cut the inlays.

Very complete inlay kit
I love the complete package deal of this kit. The spiral bits are sharp and well sized. The bushings included accommodate both 1/8 and 1/4 to fit your needs. The universal mount gives you the alignment for precision. An alignment pin is included for easy setup. The instructions are well expressed. I am pleased with the quality and performance of this kit. It makes a good value compared to some name brand sets out there. Recommended

Good general purpose bushing, plus inlay bits
The brass bushing set is well made. I have the right sort of baseplate for it, albeit cheap plastic, but the hole is a little bit small for the large spindle piece, and I had to trim it back a little to get the spindle to go down flush to the baseplate surface. This is almost certainly the fault of the baseplate, not the bushing spindle. Two diameters of bushing are provided.I got this set because of the two nice up-cut bits, that are designed to throw waste up out of a channel, for when you are doing inlays that don't go all the way through. That's one use of the bushing, and I didn't have upcut bits, so I got them with this set. But the bushing is good for any pattern cutting (premade pattern or make your own) even if it cuts all the way through the wood and the sawdust could fall out the bottom.

seems like a good kit
I have never used a bushing guide on my router. The kit seems well made and will allow me to follow my templates. It does fit my adapter plate like it should. I will update if it does not do what it is supposed to do.
