Q: Is this for a Telecaster?

These 250K Ohm, audio taper potentiometers work best on single coil pickups like on standard telecasters or stratocastors. If you have dual coil pickups (humbuckesrs) I would suggest using 500K Ohm potentiometers. I used these on a split coil rewire.

This is genuine but there are two different kinds that fit a tele knob and one that fits a strat knob. I recommend calling fender and get there part number
