The truck's details, such as the rearview mirrors, chrome door handles, and cool lights, really help take this truck to the next level. You do have to install the finishing pieces, but the fit and finish are great, so everything clicks right in when installing. You may want to use a little model glue to keep some of the parts in place. While not hobby grade, it is a great place to start especially if you are into crawlers and you want to get your child involved with the sport. I love all the details on the truck. It isn't super fast, which is exactly what you should expect in the crawler category. What is does have it climbing power. We have had fun with this, driving around our front yard and rocky areas of the house. It really is great fun.

I bought a red one and got a yellowish one.It doesn't have the black thing by the passenger door.

I have mixed feelings on this one because at this price point I expected this to be a lot faster, but it is a crawler so please take that criticism with a grain of salt. I will say this is pretty cool because all the attachments such as side mirrors are separate so it's kind of like a hybrid between an RC car and a model car. If you are the parent and you drive one of these Toyota pickups then I would imagine that your kid will love it, but if they are anything like my nephews they are going to be super bummed out when they see how slow it goes.All of that said I'm not going to recommend this one way or the other, but you should watch my video and decide for yourself.
