The tool is great, the response to change modes could be vastly improved as at the moment it takes a few seconds to change. The beep between 12v and GND is very similar and you must look at the screen to double check. These two points may make or break a person depending on how important it is to them. As I am just a diy person and don’t need to rely on this tool very often I can just persevere with the imperfections. Otherwise I wouldn’t not recommend it to anyone as I do really like the tool.

I bought this after watching a review on a Youtube Channel 'Casey La Delle Off Road Recovery'. His idea of a review is to throw it kick it , and use in the real world for months. I am rebuilding a L322 Range Rover (Stop asking WHY? at the back) The air suspension electrics were giving me a headache (PLEASE! Stop laughing at the back!) anyway half an hour with this gadget. Traced problem . Solved problem! The steering angle needs realigning. Start engine turn to lock to lock , Voila!.A normal VOM meter, just couln't track the continuity, where the power was going or what condition the earths were in. A beautiful tough , useful pice of kit, wish I'd got one years ago.

well impressed with this probe,it has loads of cable but comes in two halves so your not tripping over it when you dont need the extra length.Cable is thick so should stand a bit of abuse. Easy to read and hear readings. I have diagnosed loads of faults with this already and quite sure it wont let me down in the future.dislikes,battery connecting cable isnt long enough and i somtimes catch the function button which changes the readings. I also wish they did an 80volt version so i could test more forklifts,i would definetly buy one if they did.would definetly recommend this probe.

Used it for quad bike electrics

This is a great bit of kit at a good price, it may not be the same quality as the power probe but for the price if your an occasional user as I am it is well worth it.Comes with a good solid case to keep everything together and a very long extension lead that will get you to every part of a normal size vehicle.

As an occasional use of Power probe ,it is value for money.Shows ac voltage as a graph ideal for Can lines.If you can't justify buying the top range product then you cannot go wrong with this.

Good, Quality Tool and Leads in robust box. Read instructions for some tips. Stuck it in tool cabinet, can't wait to try it out (along with tips out of booklet)
