Should be required for every HR Department
This book is great. I figured it would be a run-of-the-mill approach to a job but I was wrong. This book is comprehensive and, if used, can set any one — entry level to executives - up for success in their role.I’ve had to coach and mentor hundreds in various roles. I wish I had this book to give to each candidate I hired because it would have made on-boarding so much easier for both the company and individual.Highly recommend this book for the person wanting to CRUSH their role and for the leaders who wanting to get their new teammate up to speed quickly.

Great & need more
Simple & straight to the point. I hate books like this that are full of anecdotal stories that carry on & never get to the actionable things to do. No fluff here. Only wish it had more because I know the author has more tips to offer!

Great read for first time hires!
This book is a helpful quick, read for someone who is graduating and is just getting started in the workforce. It’s filled with practical advice when navigating through your first 90 days. The chapters are laid out very well with short lessons and space to jot down notes to keep track of goals, objectives and action items. If you or someone you know is entering the workforce for the first time, I highly recommend this book for them!

Must have item for any young professional starting their career
An excellent read for anyone looking to make a good first impression at work. The book provides a user friendly road map to make the transition into a new job a successful one. Ample space is provided for note taking and reflection. I’ve received multiple compliments from my new boss based entirely on action items I have learned from Starting from the Bottom. Invest in yourself and buy this book!
