Great training cup!
Anyone who gives this 1 star for leakage doesn't understand the cup. It is MEANT to leak because the water should fall out of the holes so babies begin to understand they should drink the water from the top. THEN you move to a cup that they can suck out of once they've mastered that, separate from a bottle. I agree with other reviews that it is quite small, but it serves its purpose. It's a tad on the heavy side for a baby to turn up and over to get the water out, but I understand why. I would buy it again!

This is exactly what the AAP & ADA recommend
Although this is my second child, I never knew that no-spill sippy cup usage too long can lead to speech problems in children. I learned that no spill sippy cups are not good for tongue-strength and speech development but instead the AAP recommends open cup or open flow sippy cups like this one. I’m actually shocked with how few, and how hard it was to find an open flow spout cup like this but I’m happy I did. I was pretty worried that the liquid would come flowing out and my baby would choke on it but my worries were put aside when I tried this cup out for the first time. The liquid trickles out slowly. My 9 month old baby took to it instantly. This is the guidance:The American Dental Association (ADA) recommends a two handled training cup with a snap-on or screw-on lid and no valve. Avoid spill-proof cups to encourage the act of sipping rather than sucking. An open cup with a weighted base will help to avoid spills when the cup is set down. In Discontinuing the Bottle, the American Academy of Pediatrics (AAP) explains that sippy cups should be used short-term as a transition between the bottle and open cups.Parents/caregivers should offer sips from an open cup regularly to help infants explore the next step.“

Baby's first cup
You won't believe how many cups I've purchased for my 7 mo. old. We've done the 360, the bigger sippy, the sippy straw, the transitional Dr. Brown's sippy, the list goes on. This one is our favorite. It's very small and holds maybe a shot worth of water, but it's enough for my baby to sip on. He doesn't know how to suck a straw, so he kind of just opens his mouth like a baby bird when he wants water. We've been dumping it in from a small cup, which makes an absolute mess and also causes him to cough. This cup is perfect because the water flows freely from the holes in the sippy, but it's slow enough that it doesn't cause him to cough as much. It's a free flow cup, so if your baby throws it, it will leak a little. My only feedback is that the water tastes weird because of the silicone. Not my preference, but he doesn't seem to care.Edit: took off 1 star because the lid comes off easier than I would like. He rips it off with his teeth or it comes off when he chucks it off his highchair. There's not much water to spill, but it's still an ounce or two. There's a silicone cup I got from temu that has a tighter lid that I prefer.

Tiny but mighty
Only leaving this review because we had lost all hope on our 8 month old ever figuring out cups until we tried this one. It only holds a small amount of water and the water will drip out of the spout when it’s tilted down allowing the child to get water without having to suck. Our child could not figure out that she needed to suck on the spout or straw which made this an ideal option. Not a lot of water comes out at once so there isn’t a big mess and your child won’t water board them themselves.

Baby loves it
The material is really good quality and baby loves it. Sometimes she thinks it's a toy lol, but she is drinking much more water now.

Very hady
My 5 month old has been refusing a regular bottle and it has been a struggle so I bought this to try and so far she has atleast been able to bite to get some milk through, still learning though. I like the sturdy small design and the material seems good for babies, so far so good.
