[Auto Focus/Keystone&Apps] FunFlix A1 Android TV Projector 4K with WiFi and Bluetooth,800 ANSI Outdoor Projector with 8000+ Apps Built-in, Home Theater Projector for Phone/Laptop

Packed with many features. Some apps like MS Office are preloaded and others can be downloaded and installed. The unit self focuses and self corrects for the trapezoidal affect.What I like about this design:• Speakers are now mounted on the front of the unit projecting the same direction as the lens.• System self-focuses• System adjusts for the trapezoidal effect of not projecting straight on to the screen.• Home screen is easy to navigate.o On the left are 4 buttons for Apps, Network, Media, and Settingso On the top portion is the ‘Wisdom-Share’ Smart Projector logo and 3 input options – HDMI 1, HDMI 2, and Component. (USB input is under the Media Button.) Double clicking on this logo takes you to settings.o To the right of the ‘Wisdom-Share’ splash screen are 4 buttons: Invisible Art, Browser, Media, and MaxHub Share.o The bottom portion of the screen has your apps• Image is clean and brightNow for the important data that does not make it into the manual. Under the settings button:1. Projection Method - Auto-Focus – in many ways this is a great feature. The projector evidently has a camera pointed at the screen and when a pattern is projected, the camera adjusts the projector focus based on the projected pattern. One drawback I found is that when using a screen on which the image can be projected from the front or from the back, if the background on the screen is not dark enough, the unit will have difficulty in focusing. This autofocus feature can also be turned off under the “Projection Method”/ Movement Autofocus. The remote also has a focus control button.2. Trapezoid Correction - When the auto “Trapezoid Correction” is on, it does a correction every time the projector is turned on or is moved. This also resets the Zoom Scale to the factory setting if it was changed in the later menu for “Custom Zoom.” Once you have set up the projector and are not changing the position of the projector or of the screen, after the initial Trapezoidal Effect is corrected, turn the “Automatic Correction After Displacement” to the OFF position. Otherwise, the projector will reset your zoom scale each time it is powered up or moved (such as for raising it). There is also a trapezoidal correction if you are projecting off to one side of the screen. When this option is engaged, it appears to disengage any custom zoom setting and return to the factory default. This adjustment requires lining up the corners of a rectangle around the perimeter of the frame. But if your projector is too close to the screen, these lines will be off the screen and not very functional at the factory zoom level.3. Custom Zoom - Custom Zoom and Scale Scaling appear to need to both be ON. The 3rd setting under Custom Zoom is the one where the scale can be set between 1 and 50 with 50 being the tightest zoom. (Note, the manual shows 2 options – “Zoom Left and Right” and “Zoom up and Down”. The unit I have only has the one zoom option between 1 and 50.)Remember, after setting your zoom, go back to Trapezoid Correction and turn off “Automatic Correction After Displacement”. This resetting back to factory settings when the trapezoidal correction is engaged is my biggest con so far.Media – this can be accessed from the 4 buttons on the left side of the home screen or from the “Media” Button to the right of the “Wisdom Share” splash window.The Funflix A1 has an internal SSD and two USB ports. The menu button on the remote provides options for each file such as copy and pasting a file from the USB to the internal drive – nice for doing a presentation.Of note, if your thumb drive is too large, the projector will not read it. At first, I used a 64 GB drive and it did not show up in the menu under the internal drive. But a 16 GB did show up and I was able to easily access it through the media menu. I've asked the manufacturer what the limits are for the size of the USB thumb drive.Sidenote, I plugged in a USB expander into which I plugged a keyboard and wireless mouse receiver and then plugged the USB stick in the other USB port. All were seen by the projector. I could enter data from the keyboard and move the cursor with the wireless mouse. I could also enter data from the onboard keyboard. The right button on the mouse works the same as the return button on the remote. Very nice feature if you get tired of using the remote to select keys on a on-screen keyboard.Microsoft OfficeThis appears to be more of a MS Office Lite edition, probably for Android which it appears to be the basis of the projector apps. The processor is also medium speed with fraction of a second delay at times. I opened up a Word document I had just written on my desktop and was able to edit it both on the USB stick and on the copy I pasted into the internal memory. (I was able to add a folder to the internal drive.) The projector's media function allows one to select the type of media, such as jpg or png, for display in the menu.The MS Office App also opens the pdf’s. I found that some of the mark-up features could not be saved to my thumb-drive but did get saved on the file on the internal drive.Other apps:The user has the option to download any number of apps. I have not tried this yet. I did find that the loaded app for handling jpg’s is minimal.Overall, a very impressive projector. I may add some videos to this review after I finish editing and shortening them.

The media could not be loaded. I've been using a projector as my sole TV for 3 years now and have been using a "1080p" projector. After upgrading to this projector I'm amazed at what I've been missing out on. This thing is awesome! The image is crisp, and the built in auto focus works amazingy everytime I turn on the unit. The remote control also has built in buttons for focusing which saves a TON of time. The sound is great and can be turned up a ton. It was super simple to connect my Internet and fire stick. The built in Android TV is also very appealing and quick. All in all, this is definitely worth the investment. I'm very happy!

This unit has a very pretty picture very nice sound but they advertise 8000 A. This is a lie there is not 8000 apps on this at the most there is three apps that work there are apps that have pictures for display purposes you have YouTube, You cannot get Paramont plus you cannot get ESPN or Hulu or any of the other streaming apps that are normal in America. It’s like this unit was made for somewhere in Europe, but it has an American flag on it. I would not recommend to purchase this unit unless if you are planning on using a Roku streaming device or a Firestick, nothing else will work on it in America.

The media could not be loaded. Projector comes with excellent functions and quality.Screen projected is very bright, crisp, amazing sound and connectivity.Various Functions to play directly from app like Netflix, YouTube, Prime etc.Screen mirroring is seamless, fast, super easy connecting apple devices.sound is quality is great so no need of external speakers!!Wired connections( multiple HDMI ports, phone jacket, bluetooth) all work seamlessI had three projectors so far, This one beats off them!! with bright, crip, amazing sound and picture quality and connectivity!!portable, very less noise from projector, can be placed easily on table, chair, stool......Projector can work without a white projector screen as it can be easily projected on the white walls / ceiling.

Pros: beautiful, huge, clear picture. Completely covers the wall in our small family room.Great sound. I was shocked at how the sound filled our small family room. Easily connected to my wifi. If you use an external drive, like an Amazon stick you're golden.Cons: it says that it comes with apps and the A1 version supports Disney and Netflix. However none of the apps I've tried using through the device worked including sling, prime and Netflix. I recieved an error message that I needed to update my Google drive in order to support the app. Unfortunately I can not seem to find a way to update Google on the projector. So, as is, completely useless. However with an additional purchase of a firestick (we used one from our other TV to test it out) it's fully functional for our needs.

The media could not be loaded. Really enjoy this projector. I use it as a 130" projection on my wall for movie nights, etc. The picture quality is good, the sound from the built in speakers is good for when you don't have an external speaker to hookup. The auto focus is really nice! The smart app features are alright, although I just connected a Chromecast to it and pairs greatly with it. Highly recommend, especially for the price when on coupon.
