Been using Sam-e for years. This is a very good buy. Online is the only place to buy it because in vitamin/health stores the price is way higher. The only issue for me (not the product) is that I like the 400 mg because it goes further; you don't have to take two to get maximum "happiness." They are not addictive, completely natural, never have a high or a (next day) drop. One of the greatest mental health discoveries, by, thank you: Italian research physicians. Those Italians!! I love everything they've made: art, fashion, films, food and now - SAM-e. Grazie! (sp?) lol.

I started taking this product over 3 years ago and it has done wonders for my brain fog and my anxiety. However, I would suggest that you look into purchasing this from a different company. Another person here posted a picture of their damaged product but I, seeing that it would be fulfilled by Amazon Pantry, figured it would be okay. After all, I have purchased this product from other sellers with zero issues. It's my fault that I didn't check all of the blister packs prior to taking it but today, I noticed that some of them had small tears with the medicine either slightly melted or discolored. I'm not sure how long these have been on the shelf but I will not be purchasing from Amazon Pantry again.

My brain is so badly damaged that it hurts. I have so much trauma and damage to my brain and doesn't function properly. Before spent $5000 for brain scans in New York come I was going to try this product. I wish I would have done this 1st along with taking DHEA. These 2 things coupled with trace minerals magnesium from seawater have made a huge Difference. I've also added in powdered supplements, liquid iron, and purely optimal brain support. And finally starting to see some real improvement that mean something other than just not feeling is bad. Sam-e Begins working right away . I have played with the dosage because I would feel worse than the afternoon farmer which I learned is more because of my body using up the trace minerals faster. So I take 400 of this in the morning and 200 by 12 o'clock to one o'clock p.m. Common and sometimes another 200 before gets too late like past 6 o'clock p.m. if I'm feeling particularly badly that day. But I've learned to take more magnesium and more DHEA under my tongue Anything else taken

The Jarrow Sam-E is the best version of this supplement I have tried. It does help with arthritis and pain levels from back injuries. However, as other reviewers have stated, it has been regularly showing up with a good percentage of the pill sheets damaged and the pills near the damage are various degrees of swollen discolored and weird. I am taking about product that was in undamaged shipping material, so it’s not so much getting smashed in transit, it’s just damaged product. Amazon was very good about the first one and took care of it for me, but I did understand that continuing to order it was at my own risk, so I’m not mad it wasn’t fixed each time since. I have given up on this source for now, I’m just paying $10 more a box at the local health food store so I can be sure I get the undamaged supplement.

Fine. They are sealed in foil and easy to swallow even though they are tablets.

These come in individual bubble packets that are supposed to prevent them from being exposed to oxygen. When they are exposed they turn from white to yellow or darker. Mine are all varying shades of yellow, signifying a malfunction of packaging or other quality control issue. First and last time using this brand, even though less expansive than my prior choice.
