This derailleur works exactly as intended. The product came undamaged. All of the wheels were in perfect condition and could move easily. I put this on a bike and it worked great. I would recommend this product.

This installs and works just fine. It replaces the factory part just fine. It isn't super highend, but the price reflects that, it is still decent quality and will work fine. The quality is good enough, if the bike lasts longer then I'll just buy another one of these instead of something expensive. It's easy to install if you know how to take the old one off you can install this one just as easily.

Installing this derailleur on my son's older Schwinn bike has been challenging. I've been replacing most of the bike's parts, and I hoped this would be an easier installation, but I'm struggling to get the cogs aligned so the chain moves smoothly. The derailleur is too close to the spokes, which affects the smoothness of the ride. I’m still working on resolving the issue and will update if I manage to fix it, but so far, I haven’t had any luck. As other have pointed out, I would be surprised if this was a genuine Shimano part. At this point, I would recommend looking elsewhere for a derailleur.

Ordered this after the cheap plastic one that came on my son’s bike broke, this one is heavy duty and much much better. It is easy to install if you’re handy and works a lot better! A great replacement at a great value!

I need to fix up alot of old bikes and the cheaper the parts the better. This RD works great. It says it is a Shimano Tourney but I will bet you that it is not. Overall though the shifts are pretty clean.
