Surprisingly (to me) these are METAL frames with hollow, folded sides. The corners are therefore sharp! These frames will stand on top of antique furniture and I had to spend several days felting the lower corners before I could use them. Another surprise is that they have no bottom lip at all! That side is completely open so that you can slide the photo in. This is protected by a fuzzy cover that's tight enough not to slide out again - but still. The frame looks half-finished, which is a pity since from the front they look clean and elegant.

The sizing is accurate.The price seems to be completely reasonable as this is not a budget quality item so it would be unreasonable to expect a budget price.This photo frame supplied with mount is well made and looks well. It is priced appropriately.

As usual a very satisfactory purchase. I have bought a number of these frames previously and they have not let me down to-date. The frames are both well designed and manufactured. It is relatively easy to incorporate the designated picture/photo into the frame i.e. when you've done something 570 times (or however many times) it's then much easier to do than the 1st attempt.

Exactly as the photograph shows. A very plain matt black edge. Black velvet type on the back so you could stand this on a desk. There are wall hanging loops for portrait & landscape. The back pulls out of the bottom of the metal frame, assemble the photo & mount (or not) and push all of it back up behind the glass.
