It says these are die cast toys but these aren't your typical die cast heavy feeling toys. They are very light so they may be coated (?) or something else. I doubt they will last long but for the price in a goody bag, it was good.

Great, lightweight little cars. 3-year olds and pre-schoolers enjoy these and seem much better than the metal cars for this age group.

These are plastic not metal. Seem to be slightly sturdier than other cheap plastic cars so for the price they will be fine for a birthday party i got them for
