This camera is not designed to beat your typical high-end camera. The photo quality is about on-par with a good smartphone camera. Its target audience is for younger people and beginners to photography. Its design is rugged enough to withstand small drops and bumps. It's not too heavy and the battery life is good so it can be used for a long period of time in a day as long as you have a memory card with sufficient storage.
