Opening the tab-pull cans has never been easier. And, I feel, safer. Very little effort to peel back the lids. Made of plastic but seems substantial so hoping for a long useful life.

I greatly disliked ring pull cans because it was so difficult for me to open them. I often used a knife to lift the ring and sometimes pulled the ring completely off trying to open the can. This ring pull changed everything! I love it! It is so easy to use and so effective! I have ordered two more as gifts and plan to order more.

Bought this for myself & one for my sister. Both have issues with hands/fingers on canned goods with rings on them. Even the tiny cans of cat food are sooo easy to open. Food cans too. I just ordered 3 LOVE this product! Priced right. I don't know why others have suggested it looks flimsy...it is NOT. It's a sturdy but not heavy plastic of some kind. It should last a long time with normal use. I clean it by hand with other delicate items that don't go in dishwasher. Fast delivery. The trick for me & my sister has been to remember the tool does the work, all you have to do is insert it properly according to the can size (one "tip" for tiny cans & one "tip" for larger ones. The trick is once you've inserted the right "tip" under the ring, you let the rounded part of the tool do the work of pulling the lid off by GENTLY rolling/ "pulling" the handle towards you.

These work like a charm to help me open pop up lids on cans. I do worry that the plastic will start too wear too much to work as well later on. It would be nice to have exactly this design in stainless steel for better wear.

The Ring Pull Can Tin Opener really works as described. It is a most useful asset for anyone with arthritic hands or lacking hand strength &/or dexterity. Priced a bit more than other similar ring-pull can openers, but its ergonomic design makes it really worth the couple extra bucks. Also it is very easy to use, simple instructions. It is sturdy and durable and easy to clean. This handy little kitchen tool is one of the best purchases I've made.

My 91-year old father has difficulty opening fruit cans with pull-tops. I thought this would be the solution. However, this device pulls the rings off completely, leaving an unopened can. I thought I had found the solution to opening difficult cans, but this merely required us to find another way to open them. We'll use an electric can opener going forward.

I mostly use this helpful tool for opening can cat food with pull tabs. It is so easy to use and clean, and is very sturdy. Now I have no problems with smoothly opening cans with tabs first thing in the morning.

Really strong ring pull. It’s easy to use even for arthritic hands. More expensive than others but this has a dual hook to really grab the ring pull, so well worth the money. A cheaper version was impossible to use with arthritic hands. I couldn’t pull the lid all the way off.

So glad to have found this little gadget! I have very weak nails and fingers and usually need to resort to a spoon or knife to help me open cans, which isn't ideal.This can opener has made things so easy and smooth. Will say, definitely read the instructions because there are two specific little hooks that each do something different. The first time I used it on the main hook it still worked well, but works even better when it's used as intended (go figure!).100/10 recommend this, and will be buying one for my mum and recommending it to anyone who has dexterity issues (and to people who don't, too). It's one of those things that everyone can benefit from.

Perhaps the best and most value for money tool I have ever purchased from Amazon. Makes easy work of opening ring-pull cans by those with weak or arthritic fingers. Very effective, feels so much safer than trying to open as normal.
