This edge control does stay put all day. A little goes a long way and while it does look black, it doesn't tint your hair at all. It is a clear gel. So if you're looking for an actual black-tinted edge control, you'll have to look elsewhere. This works great on box braids too. helps keep the flyaways in place.

For it to be an edge control it did not do as well as it should have on the edges. I put it on my daughter’s hair and it preformed better on the area that I braided. The consistency is thick but on her edges it was like grease. Maybe it just doesn’t do well with body heat. I think it would work good around the hair line to slick hair up into the rest of the hair. The smell is pleasant.

The media could not be loaded.  This edge control was really no different from most edge controls that are on the market today. I was disappointed with the scent. The scent itself is pleasant, however, it is heavy and lingering. I put the product on my edges in the morning and smelled nothing but this edge control ALL DAY throughout the day, and it began to annoy me. Forget about wearing this product with any of your own colognes, perfumes, body lotions, because it will overpower them all! I will not be ordering this again. There are other edge controls out there that have a pleasant scent, but either fade after a few moments or are subtle throughout the day .

The product evaporates quickly and the hold disappears

This is some good strong hold gel. It lays your edges down perfectly. It just takes a little. It’s not greasy. Last a long time.

It works pretty well. It isn't the absolute best I've used in my hair but not bad. As a point of fact, all edge control will eventually turn white, well at least in my hair. So not bad, overall.

This gel hold for such a long time, even through hot weather! It is my favorite thus far!
