Targeted/marketed for mustache use, this stuff is very nice. I've enjoyed it for the very few days I've used it and plan on using the rest.Quick to apply because easy to get out of the tin, which means if you are low.on time you can quickly apply it. It holds quite nicely in general for the day. I find when applying this stuff it's easy to get a quick natural look. I'm a dummy in this aspect, but I guess it's "water soluble" , meaning i for one can attest for sure of its nice solid easy going effortless natural look and you can still wash it out with water with out having problems. Versatile. worth a buy, as it could fit in even if it's just a part of your arsenal. This stuff is unique. 5 stars, happy

Mild smell of ChapStick at first but fades. Medium hold at first, but if you mess with your stach through the day, it becomes a light hold. Texture is like drywall putty, Easy to apply compared to stiff wax but trade off is the level of hold... Does the job of "training" and keeping hair out of your mouth but if you require a high hold to keep a style throughout the day, might need to opt for a wax. Otherwise if you're just wanting something to keep those hairs together and without tearing out every whisker, this is the way to go.

I think the product works great, easy to apply, long lasting, not overly firm or shiny when done. Looks natural but well put together. My only issue is the smell. It being right under my nose I can smell it, and it sort of has a sour smell like old milk but not as extreme. It’s definitely unpleasant to me though. I will finish the tin and look into their scented options if they have any, but otherwise I have no problem with the product. 4 stars.

this is my new daily go to after MANY failed other brands. it goes on so smoothly, not much scent but if you do get a whiff it is pleasant. it holds well and best of all washes out with soap and water. my routine is to apply from the top down and form slightly. let dry and then finish with a lighter coat and curl. I haven't used this in hot weather yet, but I did notice that if the Jeep heater vent blasts on it it droops some. it is also lighter color so it matches my 65 year old beard color. it is the all around winner of products. only suggestion would be a new jar shape as the current one has a ridge at top that is difficult to get all the wax out.

This stuff is A+. Best wax I have found that really does what it says. Shapes and holds like a champ.

For a scent named "Royal Oud," you might assume that this would contain, or at least have the scent of oud. You would be incorrect. The product does smell good, but it is not remotely similar to oud. The scents listed on the product are: lemon, patchouli, black pepper, cedarwood, coumarin, iso e super, clove bud, bergamot, and galbanum. Some of these are mentioned in the product description, and I erroneously thought that they were notes that complimented a base of oud. I wear an oud cologne, so this was annoying.The actual scent is hard to pin down, probably because there are so many components in it. It is vaguely, lightly lemony and woody. I guess that's the lemon and the cedarwood. It is a "clean" scent, neither masculine or feminine. I would have named this "Barber Shop" or something similar. The strength of the scent is light, at about 2/10, 10 being holding a lemon or such to your nose.Secondly, it is overpriced. A price tag of $10-12 would have been appropriate. This is closer to an Old Spice product than it is to some handcrafted artisanal product which might justify the price. I suspect that the word "beard" in the product name is being used as a rationale for the inflated price tag.For the good part: it works. The product works as intended, as directed. The product does not add any appreciable shine, sheen, wet look, etc.; your beard/hair will look as it does naturally, but without the annoying stray hairs and flyaways. The scent remains all day, but again is pretty faint.Big bonus: the product does not leave a visible, greasy face print on your phone after making a call. This is impressive, given the various oils and waxes that the product contains. Less than half of pomades get this right. This feature alone secured the third star.The product does remain active throughout the day, and you may refresh your beard/hair to like-new with a few swipes of a comb or brush. The tradeoff here is that if you touch your beard, kiss someone, etc., any skin that contacts your beard will be faintly sticky. This is easily rinsed away with water, with or without the help of soap. All "all day" pomades do this; the remainder are glorified hair gel.I probably won't purchase this item again, but I also won't recommend against it. Had the scent been at all reflective of the name, or had the price been more reasonable, I would buy again.

This is a good hair product and you can add a few drops of water and seal the lid to soften it if you use it slow and it starts to dry out. I love that it’s unscented!

awesome product …strong, no build up, smells good, washes easily. unique find for me works really well.
