I used these flakes in a mussels fra diavolo, as I haven't cooked anything Turkish in a while. Good and flavorful, and not too spicy - they added a nice richness to the meal.

Used this on some pizza and found it to be good. Has a really nice chili flake aroma and a decent but not too hot kick to it. It looked like it was mostly flakes and I didn’t really notice any seeds, so maybe that’s why it wasn’t as spicy as some others I’ve tried before. Overall, I have no real complaints. It’s not super spicy where your lips are burning and the rest of the pizza is excruciatingly painful.

These Aleppo red pepper flakes will work well in any recipe where you use such flakes. I find them far more flavorful than the flakes you get at some restaurants. I used them the other night on a pizza--I just sprinkled some on and they added a great taste. You can use them in cooking as well, just any place that calls for red pepper flakes. You will want to adjust the amount to reflect your personal taste. The flakes come in a nicely sealed container with a sprinkle style top so you won't need to transfer them to another shaker (unless you want to). A good pantry staple at a decent price for the quality and quantity.
