Failed after just 7 months in my Kenmore Elite HE4 Dryer
I purchased and replaced the element in my Kenmore Elite HE4 Dryer in April. It failed again end of November, just 7 months later. I purchased a new one...when I removed the old one from April the element was broken / burned out again. I've had the dryer inspected and given a clean bill of health, and now that I've put another element in it is drying normally. But I can't believe that it didn't last but 7 months.UPDATE 12/7/2018: The seller refunded my money for the 2nd to cover the premature failure under warranty. So I'm raising from 1 Star to 3 Stars. The seller was prompt in response and sent the refund immediately. However, the product did fail at 7 months...I'm hoping that was a lemon and won't repeat.

Easy Fix
My dryer quit producing heat. Fortunately I have a pretty handy husband. He googled and watched YouTube videos to diagnose the problem. Ultimately determining he had to replace this. He ordered the item and received it in 2 days. Installation was about 30 minutes. Yay! Repair job complete and dryer back in operation. So lucky to not have to purchase a new dryer!

Nice product that works
Every 2 years about, we have to replace this piece in our dryer. If we would open up the dryer and blow it out to clean the coils regularly, it would last longer probably- but that is not feasible and we'd rather pay the money for a new one.

Its worth it just in savings alone
Saved a ton of money buying this product to replace in my dryer. Works like a charm, easy install. Heats up better and faster dropping down drying time. Which means electric cost go down. Great productUPDATE: A few months have gone by since purchase of this item. Still runs great. Very happy with this product. WOULD ABSOLUTELY RECOMMEND.

Element does not last
Bought this heating element for my Whirlpool dryer. Watched a youtube video from a pro and installed it myself. Worked great for almost 4 months then dryer stopped heating again. Pulled heating element out and inspected it and found it was broke in 2 places. Not worth the time or trouble to install for short time fix then you have to repeat the same process. Cannot find out how to contact seller for a refund. Hopefully they will see this and contact me. BUYER BEWARE!

worked great.. no problems
It can be replaced as a home project, but not as easy as I though it would be. The product works great have had no issues. I recommend watching a U-tube video and making sure you have all the right tools. A 1/4" driver set is a must!!

This product went TU after 7 months
This product went TU after 7 months. The heating coils worked well then nothing. After reading other review comments, I can confirm this unit is a bust. Search around for other brands and read the reviews before you purchase. I can't even find contact info to voice concerns to the seller.

Pretty disappointed
The heating element in this kit seems to have completely fell apart after a little over a month of use. That's pretty shoddy quality.
