Started making noise after just a few months. Now they want me to fix myself.
Worked ok for a few months. Now starting to make loud noises. Manufacturer sending me a “replacement part” for me to fix myself. Doesn’t inspire much confidence in them standing behind their product. If I didn’t know how to do my own plumbing, this would result in also having to hire a plumber to undo everything, fix THEIR product and then put it all back together. Not impressed.Spend a bit more and buy a better one.

Great Quality
This is so much better than any other macerator we have ever purchased for our travel trailer. Easy to set up and easy to use. We camp year around, wish this could be used in freezing weather. Very quiet.

Second time around.
The first one I bought lasted 9 months. It got to the point of not shutting off. The pump ran even when I unplugged it and plugged it back in. There was never anything put into it that shouldn't have been. I bought a second. This one is much quieter. Seems to operate better. Same model and brand. I'm hoping I just received a defective unit on the first one. We'll see. Don't expect I'll see a refund.....

Powerful, lifesaver, but a little loud.
Powerful little unit that keeps everything moving smoothly without any issues so far after about 2-plus months. It is a bit loud, but I mean that isn't a big deal since I'm not putting it in my family room or anything so no big deal. Installation seemed to be easy, but to be fair, I had a plumber set it up in my side room that has flow issues forever and it has solved all my problems.8/10 I would recommend it. I hope this review is helpful.

Burned Out in 4 Months!
This would cut on with no more than a 1/2 cup water going into it. It’s now totally nonfunctional causing sink overflow and tripping my breaker!! I am very dissatisfied. Amazon was no help in contacting the seller to file a warranty claim so I out almost $300!!

Finally, a basement toilet for my home
A little over 10 years ago my husband and I built our home. Like many people we added here and there, and towards the end felt like we had to be really careful. We had not planned for a bathroom in the basement.. As things went along, we realized that it would be a smart idea …….someday. So we made a few preparations to make things easier when that day came.We live in tornado alley and have a FEMA door and a totally encased basement. When we go down to the basement, it seems like we have just been there for a few minutes and I need the restroom. My husband has been gracious enough to provide and service a camping toilet but, it’s just not the same as a flushable toilet. This 500 Watt Macerator Pump from The Patio Zone Store is equipped with plenty of power to bring everything up to the level of our sewer and boost everything out into the drain field. We will be installing the toilet itself on an elevated platform, and this system will sit below it. This is based on the space we have available and the way our basement is designed. I believe this will also allow us to use a standard household toilet.I took photographs beside a standard toilet that is installed and above grade bathroom. I felt this would give the product scale for anyone that was uncertain how big it might be.The product has not been installed at this point. We have thoroughly checked out the pieces that are included in this kit and the quality. He has no concerns that it will do exactly what we need it to do. My husband has built houses for the last 20 years and installed several of these into the homes he has built. He is very satisfied with the quality and looks forward to being able to offer me a lot more convenience in our basement.I hope my thoughts, opinions and photos help someone decide if they need a toilet in their basement or area that is below grade for the sewer.
