Best oil cured olives
These are my favorite oil cured olives. Delicious in salads or cooked with pasta, fish, etc. They are a little more expensive but they are worth it. I buy a case and it lasts 3 or 4 months.

These olives are super on pizza or in pasta dishes or baked in gratins or casseroles.

Excellent product, but know what you’re getting.
These are very good cured olives. They have real nice bite to them. Yum. I have noticed that for some of the other brands people have complained about these olives having too much salt. Being from Italian stock on both sides of my family, I have to believe that the people saying this really didn’t understand what they were getting. These are CURED olives, folks, and, yes, they are bitter. That’s why they don’t need to be stored in brine and why they’re going to have a bit of a kick to them. In fact, a lot of people use them for cooking rather than snacking. Not me, though. I like ‘em as a snack. Sometimes I think people get confused between these and Kalamata olives. I say this because I also see people say in their reviews that these are Greek olives. They are not. They originated in Morocco but have became very popular in Italy. So if you just want a snacking olive, you’ll be better off with Kalamata or some other variety (even Kalamata olives can have a little bit of a bite). If you really know what oil cured olives are, however, Sclafani make a right fine one. Hmmm. I’m gonna go grab me a couple more right now.

Great olives!
I could not find these oil cured olives anywhere in my town and I was thrilled to find these on Amazon. Yes, they are salty but by placing in hot water for a few minutes some of the salt is removed and they are perfect for Pasta Puttanesca ! I absolutely love them!

Pour the jar full of olive oil !
The key is. Pour the jar full of olive oil. Let them age in the oil a period of time will last a very long time actually. Probably years. . They will not spoil. No refrigeration needed. Just keep topped up to cover them as you eat. The saltiness is ameliorated and are just perfect snacks.

wonderful olives
I am a full blooded Italian from the East Coast living in the Midwest and can't get a lot of things I am use to. These olives are fantastic. After you soak them in hot water for 5 mins. to get the salt out, add olive oil, clove or 2 of garlic and crushed red hot pepper an east with a loaf of good italian bread and you have a feast.

Very good olives! I just received my second shipment. Try these if you haven't already!
These are dry, cured black olives. I ordered them the first time not really knowing what they were. I came to love them! I just received my second shipment (a 4-pack). I put them on salads or just eat a few right out of the jar. Delicious.
