I have a CHI and a few other brands but wanted something more.... so I took a very long time reviewing flat irons before I took a chance choosing this one as it only had a few AMAZON reviews.This review is for the 1.5 (click on different size options and prices above)Everything about this iron is top of the line.First: it comes packaged in a nice sturdy box with its own thermal pouch bag...not like the flimsy cardboard dime store looking packaging of others.Second: It has a good quality substantial feel to it and has a thick 8' cordThird: there is a comb attachment that fits over one of the plates making guiding long hair through it a breeze.Fourth: powering it on, it has a LCD readout of the temp setting (450) and you can click it down or back up as needed and heats up quickly. (30 seconds)Fifth: the wide plates and comb make only one pass through necessary. Makes my hair glossy smooth rather than just straightened.Sixth: Can't beat the price: buy it before word gets out and it goes up on AMAZON!

The best flat irons I've ever bought. Definitely worth the money spent. I absolutely love them. Had these flat irons for over a year now and they still work as perfectly as the day I received them. The only flat irons that straighten my natural kinky hair.

stopped working in 6 months, and I cannot find the manufacturer to honor any warranty.

I bought one of these about a year ago and had been so happy. I ordered another to keep at a vacation house. That one doesn't work nearly as well. Even when used at the same temp, it doesn't ever seen to get as warm. Id return it, but I've had it a few months.

I absolutely love this. I am older with really fine hair. Not a problem with the adjustable heat. I just turn it down to 350. It works perfect and doesn't fry my hair.

I am using this product for the past 10 years and always purchase one extra in advance in case it discontinues. Happily, I was able to purchase one more and absolutely happy.

I received this item that worked for 2 months then it started to act up and not heat up! Not sure if there is a one year warden tee on this :-(. I wish I could get an exchange since I love the large plates.
