These Are Freakin' Awesome!
It's very easy to tell if you need these. Go to the car wash, and towel dry your paint if you need to. Then run your fingers and palm along the paint. If it's not glass-smooth and/or you can feel any particles at all stuck on the surface, you need these clay bars. Or if you've just noticed that while your car is clean, it just doesn't seem as nice as you think it should after having been through the wash. These bars work like magic. VERY IMPORTANT: Do not drop these on the ground. If you do, you'll end up with grit and other hard pieces that will scratch the crap out of your paint. Don't talk yourself into picking the pieces out, because you won't get them all out and the slightest particle will destroy your finish. If you drop it on the ground throw it away and be happy that you have 3 more bars. You do not use these bars dry. The drag is ferocious if you do and you'll leave smears of clay behind. These are intended to be used with liquid. For painted surfaces, I use a spray bottle of detailer. I do this, because it's made to use on your paint anyway so it won't hurt anything. I'll just spray maybe 2 square feet at a time and then start gliding the clay bar over the sprayed area. You don't have to push down really hard at all. As you do this, you may start to feel the bar drag at some point. If you do and you're not done, just throw another squirt of spray down to keep it lubricated for a smooth glide. When you're done, wipe it up with a microfiber towel or equally appropriate cloth. Then run your hand down the area you just did and feel for yourself the huge difference. You may not notice a difference if your car is brand spanking new, since the grunge buildup hasn't had time to accumulate. Now, here's a bonus use for you. I suspected this would work and I was right... Your car windows! This is a big deal. Tell me you're not sick and tired of trying and trying to clean your windows. You clean and clean and finally think you're done and then after you step in any direction, you keep seeing that it's not clean at all. A sledge hammer would take care of it for good, but that's not good for extreme temperatures or rain, so lets just clean them properly instead. I'll do a quick traditional clean with window cleaner first. Then, I get another bar out and spray down the window with glass cleaner and go to work with the bar on the glass. Same method as before, only this time the lubricant is window cleaner. I use a different bar than on the paint because I don't want window cleaner getting rubbed onto my paint surface. Maybe it won't do anything, but I just want to make sure. It might take a little bit, but when you're done, your glass will be beautiful. You shouldn't need the bars on the glass inside, because that kind of grunge usually doesn't accumulate like that inside the car.

They are okay
These are decent, they did their job removed the iron particles but the clay seems to stick and grab onto the paint every now and then.

Clay Bars for ‘The Rest of Us’
As an amateur/weekend warrior automotive detailer, I’ve come to recognize how important such a thing is in relation to my vehicle’s overall health. While there’s no mistake that I really enjoy the end result of 4-8 hours of work over an entire weekend, I take even greater satisfaction in knowing that I’m doing my part to prevent my car from developing surface rust which could inevitably lead to more serious problems ‘beneath the skin.’ And yes: even though it does tend to be quite a tedious task, claying one’s vehicle is but one step in this crucial process. Having used both traditional clay bars and synthetic modern substitutes (*I’m looking at you, Mothers Speed Clay*), I can honestly state that the latter will never hold the proverbial candle to the former. ‘But which traditional clay bar is the best,’ one may ask. Good question! While I’ve only used three brands so far (Meguiar’s, Mothers, and this one), I must say that this one has hands-down proven to be my favorite thus far. Not only was this set dirt-cheap; it really works! In addition to being bigger than those offered by the 2 major brands I’d mentioned earlier, they’re also ‘grabbier.’ I was using them on my Cosmic Grey Mica 2012 Toyota Camry SE about 2 months ago, and I was genuinely amazed that they picked up even more gunk than the famous yellow Mothers bars I’d used 2 months before that! Simply amazing! Follow that thorough claying procedure with a good 8:2 IPA panel wash, paint correction with an equally good polish and/or compound (*Meguiars are my current go-to’s for both*), and then a coat or two of Mothers CMX Ceramic Spray (*my personal favorite at the moment), and your car will be racking up compliments from friends, neighbors, and work colleagues in no time. Happy detailing out there, everyone!

Removed gritty feel from car panel
Nice product with enough bars to last for a couple cars. I have a smaller car so I used half of one bar and it went around the car. I used the bar over places on the panels that felt rough to the touch and they were left with a smoother finish.

They're ok but brittle
In this case, you get what you pay for. Stuck to the wrapping as I tried to remove it which wasn't a HUGE deal but as you stretch it out, it just becomes brittle and breaks into pieces. It should stetch a bit more so that was a little frustrating. Overall, it did the job okay but was a little difficult to work with. I'll probably use another brand when I'm done with these.

Works well and easy to use
Pros:These are good value for money compared to some other clay bars on the market. As a disclaimer, this is my first time using clay bars so I don't really have anything to compare them to but they did work really well and shined my car up nicely.Cons:The only con I can think of is that it's a little tough to get them out of the package and there's nothing to store any remaining clay in if you're not using an entire bar all at once.I'll definitely buy these again once I run out.

Good performance for cost
This was my first experience using clay bars. The 4 ea. bars arrived individually wrapped in plastic and have a firm plastic feel a little stiffer than taffy. The vehicle I used it on has been stored in my garage that is also used as a workshop. After normal washing and waxing, there was still a gritty feel to the surface. I applied soapy soapy water to both the bar and the area of the car I was working on. With only light pressure, rubbing the bar on the car quickly removed the gritty contaminates from the surface. I was very impressed with the ease and speed of the process. I finished up by waxing the car and it has never shined better. I stored the used bar in a plastic bag and plan to reuse it on my wifes car soon. Since this is my first experience, I can't compare to other products, but this worked great.

Rimuove tutto senza creare danni. Molto soddisfatto
