Not my favorite
We got these in place of the original bumpers for easy access. We hung them over and docked. Used three. When we returned to the pier all the bumpers were out of the water. The water was a bit rough this day and the bumpers seemed easily moved by the ripples. No damage had come to the boat but in my opinion these bumpers didn't serve their purpose.

Boat Fenders for Docking - versatile, durable, easy to set up and use.
I have always used the tubular inflatable fenders, and I still will. Those are still good for docking, especially when the boat is moving, they will roll with the boat as it rubs against the dock. This flat, thick, and durable rubber type fender/bumper is good for other tasks, mainly areas where they need to stay in place.I can basically secure this onto an edge or area where I need a bumper to stay in place like the aft of my boat. As opposed to the tubular ones, because since they're round they tend to slip from side to side making them unreliable unless you use multiple ones. This "flat" bumper design makes it so much easier to stay in place where you want it to.The rubber material is definitely a harder rubber and seems durable, but It might not last in areas where there is a lot of rubbing and friction. I personally think these are designed for areas that will receive blunt or direct hits. And since it's a solid rubber piece it won't deflate if it were to get cut or punctured. Overall I'm very pleased with this bumper and very satisfied with its functionality in certain situations.

Doesn't stay in place
Does not stay in place when the boat pushes up against it, the ropes loosens and the bumper will turn away from the boat until it completely falls down
