I have quite a small garden so this did wonders to provide some shelter from the sun while we redid the paving. Easy to hang up and really good quality. It's a temporary installation rather than an all year round product so it does take a bit of effort to put up and take down again but if this is what you're after then it is really good value for the price.

This sun shade is the perfect size for our small patio at 2 x 3m.It seems well made with strong D rings to attach to our awning fixings. The fact it has UV protection is definitely a bonus.Simple to set up at an angle you like for some privacy and shade.I'm really looking forward to sitting underneath it in the Summer.I would recommend.

I ordered this shade sail to install under a new pergola, to provide some shade and shower protection whilst waiting for the new climbing plants to provide natural cover. I have to say I am very impressed with it. The sail is made of a thick, durable and hopefully shower proof material, and has good, strong stitching round the edges. D-rings and a length of cord are supplied to help with the installation. There are no other fixings, though, so I purchased a shade sail fixing kit (less than £10) to give me everything I needed to fix permanent hooks on the pergola that allow me to unhook the shade when not in use.The design of the sail allows it to be pulled taut, so that rain doesn't pool on the surface - you just have to remember to make sure one side is higher than the other so that water will run off.Given that I was quoted more than two thousand pounds to have a sail professionally installed by a local company, I am more than delighted with this find, which does exactly the job I was hoping for at a fraction of the cost. A very nice, good value product.

I didn't expect much from this as it is listed on the budget side but I was pleasantly surprised by the quality. The metal D rings are attached firmly and the fabric is tough and repels water from early tests.As mentioned by others, you need to secure this in four places so even if you attach two to you nearest patio building, you'll still need to secure the other two elsewhere (tall poles that are weighted or cemented down). At 2x3 meters, it's enough to cover sun loungers or a table and chairs to give shade from the sun or at least some protection from the rain. Just make sure it is attached securely as strong winds will take this and potentially rip away the D rings. For the price, it's a no brainer if this is the type of shade you are looking for.

I was quite impressed with the quality and finish on this sun shade. The material is thick and water just runs off it. The finish on the edges is really strong and robust with good stitching and solid D Rings at the corners. It is shaped so that the fabric stays taught when in place which means no pooling water on the top if you keep it taught, along with the instruction to angle it with one side a little higher than the other to allow water to run off it. I have seen cheaper ones out there for the same price, so this loses just 1 star.My reviews follow this star rating:1 Star; Very unsatisfactory product.
