Just the right tent to ware most of the time, great bifocals, good and clear they fit and wear well also, I bought a different kind last time, got three pairs and didn't like them neer as well, these were more expensive and well worth it

The CARA bifocal reading sunglasses seemed like an innovative solution for those of us who need reading glasses but also spend a lot of time outdoors. The idea of combining UV400 protection with a bifocal reading magnifier in a sleek, classic square frame sounded perfect on paper. However, the practical application of these features left something to be desired.My main issue with these sunglasses lies in the placement of the bifocal lenses. The magnified area is positioned unusually close to the nose, which I found makes the transition between reading and looking up rather awkward and uncomfortable. This placement might not be a universal problem, but it certainly didn't suit my reading habits or facial structure well.Another significant concern is the height of the bifocal segment. It extends too high up the lens, interfering with normal distance viewing. This design flaw becomes particularly problematic when driving or participating in outdoor sports, where clear distance vision is crucial. Instead of seamlessly enhancing my sight, I found myself constantly adjusting the glasses or my head angle to see long distances clearly, which can be both annoying and hazardous in certain situations.On the positive side, the frames themselves are very durable and lightweight. The UV400 protection is also an excellent feature for eye health during outdoor activities.

Well built comfortable wrap arounds that aren't too darkso you can still see you aren't iin sunlight. The bifocal for reading is great too. I liked them so much I ordered another pair to keep in my car.

As with most that require readers, my eyes get worse as the day proceeds. I can get by with pulling my head back and lifting my sunglasses for the first few hours of the day, but have found myself looking incredibly silly wearing two pairs of glasses when doing some detail work outdoors... my readers poking out the bottom end of my sunglasses -- no more!This pair of glasses has opened my eyes! I can easily read the instrument gauges on my bike, peek at the directions on my phone, and actually read everything on my smart watch.There is a downside: There is a distinct hard blur where the readers begin and end; on my pair this sits exactly where my speedometer/instrument panel sits within my car. In this specific instance its worse than not having glasses and I must tilt head up or down to see my speed -- looks akin to a censored portion of a video where you don't want your speed to be known.Overall, I won't complain that I need to tilt occasionally, it's something that, like age, we all need to get used to -- nice to have a new tool to combat Father Time.

This is a really good concept; sunglasses with readers built in. This is so much better than switching glasses or trying to read on the beach in regular reading glasses that offer no protection from the sun. However, the part of the lens for reading, in my opinion, is too low and toward the center. I have to tilt my head back some to read. I also feel like I'm slightly crossing my eyes to look through them. The glasses themselves are pretty comfortable and light. I just wish the reading section was a little bigger to make the transition from one to the other a little more smooth. I can't say they're worth $20.
