This lamp has a metal modern design. I personally think it has a bit of a medieval dungeon feel about it and I’m not totally convinced I like it yet but my partner really likes it so this does come down to personal taste and if you have the right décor to suit the lamp. I could imagine it looking great in a room with industrial shelving or a man cave. Perhaps a teenage boy’s room. It’s also a lot easier to keep clean than some lamps!The lamp itself works very well. It has an on-and-off switch. The bulb is very bright so the metal doesn’t shade the bulb any but you could easily change the bulb to suit your set-up. Good value for money.

Simple, stylish and unashamedly modern, you need a certain decor for this lamp to look its best, though in some ways it does have an industrial, medieval metal look that wouldn't look completely out of place in a dungeon. Steel straps arranged on a real wooden base surround the central bulb holder. The bulb provided is an E27 "vintage" large Edison Screw bulb which is lightly tinted and semi-mirrored meaning it looks stylish even when it's not lit. The bulb is a very warm 2700k and burns at 4 watts. It's also dimmable which is really my only criticism here because the lamp itself is not. It's either on or it's off.The light wooden base has a soft coating so it doesn't mark your surfaces.The light produced is very warm and mellow and the shadows cast by the cage add texture and interest. A great, uncomplicated light that would really benefit from a dimmer.

This is a nice lamp combining a wooden base with fixed metal shade. It comes supplied with a screw-in Edison filament style bulb. The bulb feels fairly cheap but gives off a nice bright light, warm but not overly warm.You get an in-line switch to turn on and off, and the bottom of the base is lined to prevent damage to your surfaces.The look of the lamp might divide some people. It’s got an industrial vibe to it but also a bit of a fetish / medieval dungeon vibe to it as well.It’s a no-frills lamp really with a unique design. My main issue with it is that the metal base where you screw the bulb into doesn’t quite sit level, so the bulb seems to rest at an angle.

This is a totally stunning industrial style teble lamp, Not too big so does not take up too much space!It is a lovely metal black finished comtemporary design, Well made and fairly quirky design!Powered from a 230v 3 pin plug provided and fitted.It is also fitted with a bulb.The power on/off button is inline on the power cable.This is a lovely lamp and great value for money and i would easily recommend it..

I got this bedside light for my sons bedroom as he likes the more industrial look to it, it arrives with everything needed to simply take it out of the box screw in the lightbulb and plug in. It gives out a surprising amount of light without being too intrusive or you can change the bulb and buy an Edison smart bulb to work with Alexa.The light itself feels and looks very well made and at £21.99 (at time of ordering) I feel it is very well priced.

This is a very modern style lamp that, due to the design of the shade, gives off quite a bright light with the 40w bulb that’s included, I would prefer the light to be darker myself but it’s a nice warm, cosy light, and the shade creates a stripy sunburst pattern on the area around the lamp.The lead is a good length with the on/off switch on it. Overall the lamp is good quality, with a solid wood base and strong metal shade.
