I ordered this for my parents. Here is their review - We have an extra firm mattress which we now feel needs some cushioning due to our aging and aching joints. I did extensive research on different mattress toppers in the market and settled on Valuxe because of online reviews and the fact that it had a fitted removable cover already placed and straps to secure to our mattress. I needed two nights to adjust to the different feel of the memory foam. By day 3 i was sleeping like a baby! The cushioning really feels like a supportive cloud beneath you. I am able to turn in my sleep comfortably and settle on either side with no issues. I am a side sleeper and my husband is a back sleeper and both of us love this topper. The straps are a wonderful feature as the topper lays secure with no movement off the mattress. There is no smell at all. The one caveat is that it is a bit hot, but you can easily compensate for that with a fan or AC.Overall, it is a fabulous buy!!! One of my best online ever. Definitely five stars!!!

We are loving this mattress topper! We tried a pillow top and it felt like it was suffocating us and was sooooo hot. So we tried going without a topper for awhile and started having back pains. We decided to look up gel toppers and found this one after days of researching. It has helped immensely with back pain! It is comfortable, not suffocating, and fits the bed very well. Slides a bit on top of our mattress protector but it’s ok and easy to fix. There was no smell at all which was very nice. Best of all, it is NOT HOT! We are such hot sleepers and this works like a charm without adding any heat! Such a great deal for such a supportive topper. We will be buying this for any mattress we have in our home.

When we bought our house they had left a brand new king size bed. We were elated until we tried sleeping on it. A rock would have been softer. So I searched around for quite budget friendly option to make sure we could get quite good nights sleep and landed on this product. I was skeptical I won't lie, but it's amazing. Unpacked it and let it air up and put the sheets on the bed and crashed. Such a great night's sleep every time I'm in the bed now. It does not get to hot which I was worried about and it's super comfortable. I thought it might be lower quality but as of right now on month two it's still amazing. Only two downsides I've found so far is it tends to move around on the bed, even with the straps but not a ton, the second is with the 3 inches of added height my sheets don't like to stay on the bed. All in all for the work I do and stresses I put on my back, this topper is amazing. Fits the bed well, didn't have a funky smell like some do, was the perfect thickness as to where it wasn't over kill and I love it. The corner pocket straps were a bonus.

This mattress topper made a firm bed much more comfortable. We bought a mattress a while back, thinking we wanted firm, but it was a little too firm. I actually sleep more soundly because my joints don't ache. It was easy to unbox and then let rise to size. Once on the bed, straps are helpful to keep it in place. I have not had any sliding around of the topper. You do need to consider getting deep pocket sheets(18 in+). Amazon offers many deep pocket sheets at very reasonable prices for a king size bed. The cover on the topper is very good quality also. Needless to say, I am very happy with this purchase!

I highly recommend this product for its comfort and cooling materials, which provides great sleep quality. The thickness is perfect, making this a high quality addition to any bedroom.

We have a relatively new (and expensive) sleeper sofa that we use when we have a house full of company. It is only marginally comfortable at best. We decided to give this mattress topper a try. It was far better than expected right out of the box and after giving it a little time to fluff itself up, we gave it a try. It made the sleeper sofa actually comfortably sleepable. We were pleased and our company slept comfortably.

I like the nice cover and the elastic bands to hold it in place over the mattress.

It’s just as advertised, three inches, nice cover for protection and water protection and stays in place. My husband loves it BUT I hate it. He says it comfortably and relieves his back pain. I’m just the opposite I find it’s hard and I actually struggle with how much hotter it is. There isn’t any smell to it and for the money it’s a good value compared to other toppers.
