Amazing Reciprocating Saw!! Buy this saw!!
Never owned a reciprocating saw, but had some wall tile and backer board to remove from a small bathroom. Made "mince meat" out of all of it, and I was done in no time. Had to get more "quality" blades though! Buy it you will be happy for the price point.

Powerful Cutting Performance
For DIY enthusiasts and occasional users, a reciprocating saw can be a powerful tool for demolition, cutting through various materials. This 6 Amp Reciprocating Saw boasts a variable speed setting and three blades for wood, soft metal, and PVC pipe cutting. I bought this saw for some light trimming projects around the house, like cutting PVC pipes and old fence boards. It worked okay for these tasks, but I wouldn't recommend it for tougher jobs. The lower power means slower cutting, especially in denser wood. Here are the pros and cons of this variable Speed Reciprocating Saw:Pros:Budget-FriendlyVariable SpeedMultiple Blade OptionsCompact and LightweightCons:Lower PowerLimited Cutting CapacityDurability ConcernsBrand RecognitionThis reciprocating saw is a particularly affordable option, making it attractive for occasional use or those on a tight budget. The variable speed setting allows for some control over the cutting pace, depending on the material and desired outcome. The saw comes with three blades for cutting wood, soft metal, and PVC pipes, offering some versatility for various tasks. The lightweight design makes it easier to maneuver and use for extended periods, reducing fatigue. With only 6 amps of power, this saw might struggle with thicker or denser materials compared to higher-powered models. The 4/5 inch (20mm) stroke length might limit its ability to handle very deep cuts. I do have some apprehension regarding the long-term durability, particularly for heavy-duty use. This saw might lack the brand recognition of some established power tool manufacturers.Overall this 6 Amp Reciprocating Saw is an option for budget-minded DIYers who need a saw for occasional light-duty jobs. The affordability, variable speed, and multiple blade options are its selling points. However, consider the limitations of its power, cutting capacity, potential durability issues, and lesser-known brand before deciding if it's the right saw for your projects.

not good quality
the locking mechanism broke as soon as i started using it, was just cutting soft sheet metal with the metal cutting piece and the blade flew out

Nice tool for the price
Nice tool for the price. Great for hobby projects around the house. Handy for trimming, wood working, dry-wall and plumbing projects. Very sturdy, too and the three blades are an extra plus.

It needs more power
The media could not be loaded. A few months ago, I gave my budding carpenter grandson my corded name-brand reciprocating saw. It was seldom used, and I planned to buy a battery powered one should I need another.I saw the G Laxia saw being offered for review and ordered it. My old model was 10 amps, but I reasoned that 6 amps would be sufficient for my infrequent use.Today was the first time I used it…my better half needed to cut a ¾” thick hickory board in half, and the video shows the result.Using the supplied wood blade, the saw managed to gnaw its way a bit over 1 ½” inches in 37 seconds. 6 amps was not enough to do the job. My 18V circular saw took about 10 second on a new cut. Before trying the cut, I tried to adjust the pivot shoe assembly closer to the saw to minimize blade vibration, but found the assembly only had about ½” range of movement. Adding to the vibration issue was the pivot shoe, which could not be locked into place. The shoe moved as I tried to keep a constant angle. The blade remained sharp, but the saw is under-powered. It took almost a minute to cut through a pine 2x4.The blade lock worked flawlessly. For casual small jobs around the house this saw might be handy, but if you plan to use it frequently I suggest you invest in a brand with at least 10 amps.

Inexpensive, good starter
This reciprocating saw is a budget entry into this tool category. For its price point, it does the job.First the good:It's inexpensive, it works well enough, the usage is straightforward, it's compatible with most replacement blades, and if it wears out quick, you're not out much.Next the bad:It's heavy, it vibrates heavily in the hand, it has a short blade travel, it gets hot, and the front grip can spin/slip.Finally, the conclusion:This is an amateur friendly, budget gentle, entry level reciprocating saw. It will get most jobs done and will last long enough. I would recommend this to those that need one for a single or occasional project, that are unsure if they want to make projects a hobby, or just don't want to pay for better features. I would not recommend this if you're well experienced with wood/metal working, looking to build a strong inventory of quality tools, or are doing projects on the regular.

Great tool for beginners.
This Reciprocating Saw is wonderful. It was easy to set up and easy to use. The battery life last a while as well. The cutting power was okay it definitely could be more powerful but for a first time saw I really like it and I’m very happy I now have this in my tool collection.
