2 heaped desert spoons per ½ pint, leans towards onion flavour
I had tasted this at a friend's house, knew what I was getting, do not expect full beef flavour, hints of roasted onion ( as flavours are detected in the nasal cavity, flavour experience may differ), great on its own or added to weak stock, do not use as a thickener for flavourful stock, use corn flour ( make me not a water based paste first, or if you want to freeze, store in fridge, use xanthan gum (important to mix with oil or melted butter first, not water) as gravy will keep its consistency over time, cornbflour breaks down when stored.

Directions To make 280ml (1/2 pint) 1. Put 2 heaped dessertspoonfuls (27g) of mix into a measuring jug. 2. Pour in 280 ml (1/2 pint) of boiling water, whisk with a fork and serve.
Serving suggestion: Try with roast beef or turkey.
